When I called they said the code wasn't good for my current ressie at POFQ but I could save $414 if I switched to CSR or CBR - I choose to stay at POFQ but I might try calling back to get someone else - who knows what can happen....

Called back & told the same thing - asked about upgrading & they offered me AKL standard view for $197 more, not bad but not what I want.

Disney has released a Package offer for Disney Visa Holders. That usually means the public special is not far behind.

Travel Dates: sept. 30 to dec.23
Code ZQL package no dining
Code ZQM package with dining

Availability is very very very limited. The beginning of Dec, Thanksgiving and the end of Oct/beginning of Nov is so limited it is not even funny.

There is no room only component. Those of you without Disney Visas should keep a look out for a general public code release soon.

Called again to upgrade...and got the same CM I got the first time....what are the odds of that??

I asked if I could call when the public codes come out to maybe have a better chance on an upgrade and he told me if there are not any deluxes now, there won't be any for the public? I sure hope not!! For the sake of the public code people as well. I don't know if I can believe that.

He also said the best time to call is about 9:58pm eastern because at 10pm all the people who had a reservation on hold would be automatically dropped. So more options could possibly be open.

And it is now 10:16 and I am still on hold...

ughhh I just waited on the phone for 10 min to talk to someone and they said that the system is down and he couldn't access anything, they are hoping its back up w/in the next hour and to call back. I tried to call this morning but after 30 min on hold I gave up.
Has anyone gotten luck w/this code at the WL the second week of Dec?? I am hoping we can find something, it would be so nice to save some money, we are splurging on a deluxe for our hm, we are used to the mods and values.
One more question, I know this package is for packages, and we already have tickets (left overs from May), but can you buy just a one day ticket and consider that a package?? I'm still so new to this....

I called this morning to try for the code at WL around 9:30 central time. We had a Woods view with bunks for 12/10 to 12/17 (I think your dates too?). I was told that nothing was available at WL for those dates--only CP, Poly MK view and AKL pool view. I just stayed as I was. About 12:30 central I decided to try again. Well there was a courtyard view with 2 queens available. I took it. So I got the better view and saved $290. So keep trying!

I spent an hour on the phone with them. What I was told was only certain resorts are participating in this. As far as Value Resorts that are it is only the All Stars and currently there are only rooms available at the All Star Sports hotel. She did offer me POR so this must be another one that is participating.

Hey everyone

Im a newbie to all this codes stuff, and to staying onsite too. My first visit is 11/27-12/4. Ive booked room only.

I have a few questions

1. Can i use the public code for room only?

2. If I cant could i change to a package? I havent bought my tickets yet.

3. Say i did get to use a code, do you think the savings would be better than buying my tickets from a ticket place rather than from disney? (I can get our tix with hopping and waterpark for $290 dollars each)

Any help greatly appreciated

I just called to try and get the discount and she said that there was not one available for Pop. We have pop for Dec 1-8, 2adults, 2children with ddp and she said the next available thing is at cbr and it ended up being $400 more!

I received an e-mail from visa and it says that the code would be available to the general public on August 16th. Does that mean the AP and FL resident discounts will be announced before that? They were in the past I think.

I noticed something very interesting on mousesavers.com's Historical Discounts page. Last year, on this same week of August, Disney Visa Cardholders package deal came out on Monday. That same week, on Thursday, the general public package code came out, just what is happening this Thursday. ALSO, that same week, AP & FL Resident rates came out on that WEDNESDAY.

So, I'm not saying that's what's going to happen tomorrow, but I know I will be checking early in the morning tomorrow, and the next several mornings, because they can't be too far behind!

I am very anxious as well. I really have a feeling it is not going to work out for us because we are at Pop. We could move to an All Star, but due to my mothers ecv, shared transportation will make things quite difficult. So it would have to be a decent savings to be worth the extra aggrevation. And I would love to upgrade to a moderate, but from what I have heard from people on here, it will still cost me much more even with the discount. So I am probably going to end up not using the discount, but I am still anxious to see exactly what my TA can offer.

I know you can use the AP discount and the Florida Resident discount on the web but I am not sure about the general public code.

Also, to the person who is staying at Pop with an EVC, have you done this before? Those rooms are soooo small I can't imagine putting an EVC in there. I would seriously consider getting a moderate resort for that reason alone. Try CSR as they don't share busses with anyone and the bus service is usually great. Just be adament that you don't want to be in the back section of the cabanas. Way to many steps to get to the room and it gets a little confusing.

For what it is worth I was able to get the Visa code for pop. My dates are 12/14 to 12/22 8 nights at pop with 9 day PH ticket for 2 adults total is $981. I think this is an awesome deal.
