Mt avatar is my Gracie, our little (4.5 lbs of love) puppymill survivor - she is 13 in that photo and had been free just a few months! She's a sweetie.

A code is a discount that you can use for making a reservation to get a special... right?!?!? but what is it that people are talking about when they say "its attached to your name???" I am confused!!!

There are codes that the general public can use, and then there are personal codes attatched to an individual's name. Disney sends these out what appears to be randomly via email or postcard. These are only for the person to whom they were sent, and cannot be used by anyone else.

I just booked my vacation for December 15-22 . Now maybe we can upgrade if we get a code DH really wants wilderness lodge but it was to much.

Have there been good codes (discounts) that have come out in the past for the first part of dec?
We are hoping that there will be some but if it is getting to be busier this time of year I'm afraid the deals won't be as good. What do you think?

From what i have heard about many resorts being fully booked, I am thinking there may be little to no deals for December. But I am hoping I am wrong.

Just curious...when did you book your trip? I assume it was during Feb. I called yesterday to ask if I had a pin code next to my name. I was told I did ...it was for the dates I was going... yet it expired in Feb!!

where do you call to see if there is a pin number next to your name and if you've already paid for your trip through a travel agent can it still be used if there is a pin number beside your name?

You can call the general Disney reservation number.
I did it last night but I didn't have a pin number

Yes it was in Feb. sometime because we had just gotten back from our Feb. trip when I paid the deposit. It was good for dates thru out the whole year which usually pin#'s are for just a couple months but it had valid dates thru out '07 It ended up being 40% off rack rate but came to the equivalent of free dining for us but in December.

We're going 12/1-8 and received a pin code in the mail yesterday. The excluded dates are: 11/20-23 and 11/29-12/7, so we can't use it. I'm having our agent check on moving our trip to 12/8-15, but the discount would have be huge to change airline tickets and have the IPO office change our ADRs. Wondering what the exclusions say about crowd levels for the first week.....

DebbieT11... well when I called she said that there was a pin number beside Debbie T (same last name as me) but in Maine.. I said we could change my addy for the pin number? She just laughed at me!

I just called to ask if DH or I had any discounts associated with our name/address...nada . "Zack" was very polite and stated that sometimes postcards and such may be mailed or available approx. 2 months before trip time. I'm still keeping fingers crossed.

I'm sooo sad!! DH and I were going to go Dec 8-15 and take my mom for her first trip ever to Disney, so it was going to be really special, but my mom's work will not allow her to have time off-- they are not allowing any managers time off from sept till the end of december how awful is that!! i am so disappointed... Dh and I could still go but it just doesn't seem right
