December 2006, anyone?

I know this is crazy, but I am not planning a "Full" trip until 2006! I can't believe it. It seems like forever away! I say "full" trip because we live in GA and can sometimes get down for a couple of days, but we may not be able to. My goal is to save for a really "GREAT" trip in 2006. We took DD for her 2nd Bday and in 2006 our new addition DS will be 2.
Is anyone else planning a trip that far away? Who's planning DECEMBER '06?

I can't plan that far in advance. I am a very impatient person. So I'd never be able to stand it. I'm currently trying to plan a WDW for somewhere between Jan 29th and March 1st (of this year!!!!). I did some extra consulting work over the last 2 weeks, got the check, wanna go. I'm hoping to go in the next 3 weeks--thats how 95% of our trips are created and planned (in under 30 days).

Got ya beat - my next trip is May 2007! It was going to be April 2006, but for various reasons we are changing it.

I am still here on the boards every day, even though I know a lot will change before 2007. I can't help it - once I know I have such an exciting trip coming up I can't stop thinking about it! Planning is such fun though!

Because we live so far away, there won't be any quickie visits in between either!


December 2006 will be here before you know it.

BTW: if you are crazy then I am definitely crazier!!

Barring a miracle, Dec. 2006 is the next time I'll be able to go, too. Words can't describe how jealous I am of my parents, who are DVC members and therefore make it down to WDW 2-3 times a year.

Although we have two two-week trips to the NJ Shore, a cruise and two two-week trips to the West coast of Florida booked from now until December 2006, we won't be going to Disney until the Saturday after Thanksgiving of 2006. We went this past Nov/Dec and it was a great time to go.
We have already asked my inlaws that have never been and they will be coming with us too. My mom will also be coming with us. She loves Disney like we do and was just with us in Nov/Dec and going back with my sister next month. It will be a different trip with my inlaws and not so sure what exactly I want to do with them. We (my family and my mom) have done both the Wishes and Illuminations cruise and thinking about doing this again (one of them). Was going to book HDDR but when I really thought about doing it (again) I realized I was just booking just because I could LOL
Well, I guess we will all be hearing a lot from each other LOL
Anyone making plans yet? We own a 3 bedroom at OLCC so we already know where we will be staying and also know that my dh and fil want to do Universal. We promised my dh last month he would be able to go but I just couldn't fit it into my plans LOL

Yeeeee-Haaaaa.............You make me feel great with this thread........My "countdown thingamabob" started at like 690 days........Now its down below one year..........and considering this thread, I feel "less bad" about not taking my wife to her most favorite place in almost 2 years........

We most recently had a "new addition" and after taking our "first addition" to WDW as a 3 month old, decided to NEVER DO THAT AGAIN........point being, December 2005 here we come.................FINALLY...............

We were just there last month, and would love to go back december 2006. It's such a great time to visit, that if I were to go any other time it would feel weird without the decorations and MVMCP.

Yup, us too. But only going every two years means we are never "tired" of anything at WDW. The trips are more magical because of it.
