Okay, so WHY, opening at 8 am, are they not showing Paint the Night that night? I am dying! The only days it's not showing during those several weeks are the only 4 days we're going to be there! It's not right, I tell you...

It was my understanding that the PTN parade would only be Fri-Sun until the 2 weeks at Christmas. Generally, during the weeks leading up to Christmas break, Mon-Thurs only has 1 parade.

They do not list the times for the Parade when it is being filmed because it is not just a we are going to record this parade. It is stop, start, stop, re-start for sections they want to film. It could be hours of them filming a couple minutes of finished film. Rumors are saying they are recording Nov 5th & 6th.

Having been there for the filming, there is a lot more "stop" than start. I loved the year it was 90 degrees out and everyone along the route who could possibly be filmed had to be in sweaters and Christmas hats. I felt so bad for them. Later that night they filmed One Republic (?) and that took so MANY takes of people screaming...

I didn't think so, for the very reason you cite. Which still makes it pretty strange that the parade is running at 10:30 and 1:15 on November 16th. Still haven't figured that mystery out yet.
