december 17-24 rental car codes?

even with the codes on mousesavers, rental cars that week are crazy high, like $600-$800!
i found a decent code for thrifty on the UG blog, but i've heard bad things about thrifty.
anyone have any other suggestions?

Car Rental Savers uses the Walmart code for Alamo. There is also a weird glitch on the Alamo site where you get a MUCH better rate for 9-10 day rentals than shorter or longer rentals.

Yes there is. If you return the car early or late then you will pay a different rate. Early will usually get you the current "rack rate" for the time you rented it for. Late may get you the "rack rate" or just your rate plus the extra day rate.

I found good rates at Enterprise for 12/27-12/30, so you might check them. They have a location at one of the DTD hotels, and they will pick you up at your resort.
