Oh, poor baby! I hope she is okay! These are the moments of motherhood that you just have to shake your head and then hug them a bunch. If we have anything resembling a family motto it's: "accidents happen!" (That, or "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!", but that doesn't really apply here.

. My ER pretty much knows my DS Ben (5) by name. It's amazing they haven't called social services on us yet
. He is constantly falling and bumping his eye, head, lip, you name it. He's like a monkey. I guess I could tie him down?

The hospital/doctor had an emergency come in that took top priority. My surgery is not life threating, just search & repair. It has been a very nerve-racking, stressful day. I am still waiting to re-schedule. I guess this is what happens when you have a very much in demand doctor.
