Hey gang! I am cleared to go!!! Whoohoooo! All restrictions are lifted, except one. I had to promise to take it easy and not to swim for long periods of time, but I can offically now go with her blessing!! (was gonna go anways, been 12 weeks since the surgery!!)

I am so excited now!! I'm bouncing off the walls!! Just call me Tigger!

If your neighbors are violating ship policies while disturbing you, GS will issue them "gentle" reminders about the rules (no loud noises in halls at night, etc.) If it is "innocent" noise that is driving you crazy (like snoring), you might be offered a different cabin.

On one cruise several years ago we were on 5 aft. There's a CM entrance/exit right there. The CD came out of the secret passageway and was delighted to recognize us from a previous cruise. She heard a screaming baby, and asked if that was disturbing us. I said that it wasn't pleasant, but....She instantly offered to have us moved! I suggested that the child had probably had a rough day (it was embarkation day) and the if it was a problem that night, I'd let her know. She repeated her offer to move us if it was a problem that night!

So, yes, they will work with you sometimes...if there is room available on the ship, etc.

What exactly are the ship's policies on after hours guest behavior?.. Thanks for the info, you guys are really helping me feel at ease.

It's cold here too! Low was 9 degrees, high was 22 degress. Shoog, probably warmer down there, eh?

we were mid 60's, but windy - but all of you who are in cold weather - you have to understand that 40 brings out the heavy winter parkas here. Last year 1" of snow canceled school.

We are at the airport right now - took 2 minutes to check in and get through security (completely unheard of in Vegas). The kids currently resemble Tigger. Hopefully they will calm down enough to sleep tonight or it could be a long day in the parks. Can't wait to see all of you on the cruise!

I have one more week today until I officially begin vacation. I'm sure this week will fly by!!!! And my kids still have no clue!

Well... I have until Thursday to lose this cold I managed to acquire on a recent trip to Chicago. Timing is everything and mine is bad lately.

On the plus side, I finally got our cruise docs from the travel agent. I had them couriered to work...and then I wasn't at work because of the cold. The irony of it all hasn't escaped me.

Haven't even started packing yet. LOL I may start charging all the electronics this weekend though. If the east coast loses power, you'll know why.

Isn't it cool that all of our ticker day thingies say 7 days or 1 week!?

I still am undecided about Cozumel. I really want to go to the cool beach everyone was talking about. They only let 100 people in, what's it called again? I promise to save the info this time

We're doing the Nachi Cocom beach break. If you want to do it, you need to submit a request online before you go, and pay a small deposit. The deposit is refundable if we don't make it to Cozumel that day. You pay the rest in cash when you arrive at the beach. Free food, drinks, pool and beach, and prices much cheaper than Disney (especially if you have little kids like we do) were what enticed us!

What's funny is that I've never actually sailed in a room with one of these lamps. But I've seen enough pictures of them to know what they look like! I went back to see what lamps were in the suites we've stayed in, and they are basic lamps with no mickey mouse embellishments!

One of the bars on Castaway Cay. I'm thinking it's one at the Adult beach (Serenity Bay) (which I've yet to make it to) because I'm thinking the bar by the family beach where we always sit is more open in the middle.
