**I know most of it's not capatilized, but I was using a font where it only writes in "capitals" but you don't have to press CAPS LOCK.**

Up Next: Well, these plans are really rough, and im not sure if we are really going to MK on a Saturday (i've heard it's super busy), so we will be changing them alot. Than we have to wait until June for the real park hours and than it will be only 180 days till the trip!!

Greetings fellow December 2008 WDW visitor-to-be!!! :thumbsup2

A quick question: why on Friday Dec 12 are you going to lunch at DTD when you'll be at the AK? Those two locations are about as far apart as you can get at WDW ... Why not have lunch at AK and hit DTD that night for dinner and shopping?

And we just might run into each other at the AK on Dec 12 and MK Dec 13 (morning - we'll be heading out that day ...) ... :rotfl: (Unless my initial plans changes ... )

And do you plan to eat dinner??? :) (Just asking cause I just ate ... )

And don't forget MVMCP ... (either to attend or avoid the MK those days ...) :upsidedow

Aloha!! We actually changed our plans again. It really stinks because the MVMCP is going to be going on I think 4-5 nights that we are there, so that means that we have limited opportunities to go to the MK late at night. We prefer to avoid the EMH...

The reason why we *at first* put AK with a meal at DTD is because there really isn't much to eat at AK. Our favorite place to eat was Tusker house, but they changed that to a buffet :sad1: .

Where are you staying?

I was about to reply last night when the DW walked into the room and sat down next to me - and where we're staying (in part) is a secret ... :lovestruc

She thinks we're spending the first 4 nights at All Star Movies and then moving over to AKL - but actually, we're staying at AKL the whole time!! It's that "magical and mysterious" WDW "math" - with the AAA discount and factoring in the DDP and other meal costs, it will only cost about an extra $250 to stay the entire week at AKL - so I went for it!! :simba:

Then - our lovely federal representatives decided they needed to "bribe" us in an election year (hey - it's what they know best!! :lmao:) and announced the rebates - so I dedcided to take $100 from that and upgrade to a Pool View ... :tigger:

And if - when we check in and the CMs see our adorable DD - they feel so inclined to give us a free upgrade to a Savannah Room ... :dance3:

EMH at MK aren't too bad - we did one last May and didn't have any waits for the rides (5 minutes for the Haunted Mansion) ... but that was a Sunday night (so all the locals went home ...) and the MVMCP is on Sunday ...

Aww, isn't that sweet of you!! I bet she'll be super excited when she finds out!:goodvibes

We once tried to go to a MK EMH in April, and :scared1:, it was busy like you wouldn't believe. We just wanted to watch wishes so we started to move towards the castle, worse thing to do! The crowds were horrible, there was no place to go. I kind of wish that we did stay for the EMH but oooh well.

Looks like I may run into both of you. We're at AKL Dec 7-10 then Poly 10-15...it was too hard to choose between the two. I'm still working on our itinary, since its our first time I'm trying not to miss anything!!

I am SO inspired about your whole trip planning! There are so many things to do, I have no where to start. That and we are trying to accommodate 2 little ones (4yrs, and 5yrs) and then 2 older kids (12yrs, and 14yrs).

I know a few things we want to do...
BBB
Princess Tea Party
meal at CRT
and that is all I know so far.

I may have to look over your plans to try to make some of my own.

Also... if we rent points from a DVC member, can we still buy the dining package?

TIA

Our plans are just rough, because we don't know the park hours just yet. All we know is the MVMCP dates so we can try and plan our Magic Kingdom days around those. I can't wait to hear what your plans are!!

This is so cool!! Im staying at the Polynesian too, and im also from Ontario Canada!!!

And I spent a summer on Lake Huron at the University of Toronto Research station during my undergrad days ... :boat:

PS - my PTR is at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1689094

and - "blessedmommyx4" - we'll be dealing with 2 5-year old girls, a 12-year old boy (well ... me ... :rotfl:) and a 12 year-old girl (uh - my DW's cousin ... :lmao:)

Later ...

Hey Joel

I live on Lake Huron...where's the U of T research place? I've never heard of it. :confused3

Yes you can... the DVC member would have to set it up for you though, just like with the room ressies, but its not paid for until you check in to the hotel. It's even slightly cheaper for DVC members, or was under the old dining plan... with the changes, it might not be anymore though...

Let me pull out my map here ... it was the summer of 1980 :scared1: so it might not still be there ... Somewhere off of Route 21 in the Kincardine-Port Elgin area. Is there a nuclear power plant at Pt. Douglas? - cause it was just across a small bay from that ... pirate:

Well you learn something new everyday!! That exactly where I live...in fact DH works at the plant. I would have been in High school in Kincardine in 1980. It really is a small world. :cool2:

Have you totally changed your itinerary or just a few tweeks here and there? I've been comparing with mine since we are both staying 8 nights...and since this is our first trip I'm trying not to miss anything important. How old are your little ones?

We had a snow storm here yesterday...I'm so tired of winter!!
