Well, we got our cruise docs today ... I don't mean to sound like a downer, but can I just say that I am not in the least bit impressed? Actually, I am rather disappointed. Honestly, when we have cruised other lines, getting the cruise docs was like opening a present. They would come in beautiful leather folders; the tickets were in a nice booklet and didn't look like some cheap concert tickets, and the luggage tags were truly luggage tags that you saved and not some cheap stickers. It sounds dumb, perhaps, but whenever we've received our docs for our other cruises, it really set the tone and got us excited! Instead, I feel like I've received some cheap envelope that is going to get me aboard a ridiculously expensive cruise? It just doesn't add up. I suppose this is dumb and doesn't mean anything to anyone else, but, for Disney, I sure expected more. Even Mike, who could not really care less, called me at work when the docs came and said, "I think these are supposed to be our cruise docs." I asked what they were like, and he said "chintzy." I never thought I'd agree with him! Ugh, already I can't help comparing Disney to our other cruiseline, and now my first impression is not a good one. I really need to snap out of it!
. I ordered a gift basket from Shirley for my parents as a thank you. I bottle of Merlot for my dad and a box of Godiva's for my mom. I hope they like it!
When I saw the luggage tags, I was like, huh???? They look like the tags you get at the airport when you check your luggage.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I am going to ask her to forward the tags, at least, to AKL because there is no way I am going to spend time at the port filling out bag tags. No No No No.
