I know if I research for a while could probably get the answer, but do you think crowds will be low these dates? Thanks, Linda

The last 2 years DH and I have gone the second weekend in Dec and loved it, cool if not cold weather (we are from south FL so our blood is very thin ha ha), very low crowds IMHO. The Pop Warner kids are there but the parks did not reflect that just our resort, CBR

This year we are going the first weekend in Dec and I am a bit worried about the parade taping, I hope MK is not to busy!

We will be at WDW Dec8th - 15th.The crowds are not as low as they used to be at that time of year but still not bad. With all the hoiday doings and the resorts all decked out it is a very special time to visit.Just have a basic plan and be flexible and use fast pass and you are going to have a great time.Don't miss Osborne Lights at MGM and try to to a MVMCP and do not miss a performance of CP at Epcot. :goodvibes

We are also going from Dec 8th -15th. I think it is a good time to go - not dead slow like it used to be but not outrageously busy either. I've heard the holiday decorations are nice.

We were there around that time in 2004. LOVED it.

We will be going there around that time in 2007, but I wish I could go this year.

You will love it.

We've been there 3 times the 2nd week of December...........fantastic time to go! This week has the lowest projected crowds (according to the UOG) at a level of "4" (out of 10). The only other weeks of the year with a crowd level of "4" are in early September. Rock out, you win! :thumbsup2

Ditto to what the others have said. We were there last year at this time and only waited maybe 5 or so for a few things--mostly walk ons! The Christmas decorations are up and it was wonderful! I'd love to go again sometime at this time of year!

Yeah! We went last year from the 10-17th I think. Great time. The parks weren't full but there was a good crowd so that all the rides were running and the park hours and EMHs were good. Enjoy! Oh by the way, it was FREEZING last year. I'm not kidding- we're from NH and used to the New England winters. However, we were completely unprepared. I remember having to buy a thick red hoodie at one of the Disney stores in Epcot because of the cold. For Illuminations I wore a long sleeve, light zip up jacket and the red hoodie that I bought with the hood up and was still cold. But anyway, I digress... Enjoy!

We were there from Dec 15 to 23 last year. It was a great trip; however, it was cooler than we expected. No crowds for the first 6 days; however, it got very (I mean very!) crowded the last 2 days of our trip. We found out that Florida school kids were out for the holidays and I guess they were all at WDW. :confused3

We went the first 2 weeks in Dec 2004 and had a great time. The first week was hot then a cold front came in and it was cool. In the 60 during the day and in the 50's at night. I am from MI so this was still nice for us. There were little crowds for us. We had the best of times. It is wonderful at Christmas time.

Our last three trips have been in December and this year we are scheduled for Dec 9 - 16. We obviously think it is a great time to go. I will agree with the the post about the weather. It can be really cold at that time of year. The first time it got cold, I was teasing one of the CMs saying it was supposed to be warm in Florida. He smiled and said they only promised "sunny Florida", not "warm Florida". We watch the weather channel closely before packing and make sure we take at least one sweatshirt and a jacket. Also, I now buy gloves for everyone before we leave. The ones you can get at Target for less than a dollar were $8 in Disney. They don't take up much room in the suitcases and were wonderful on the days we needed them. I have needed them two out of the past three years.
