We just booked for this cruise! It will be our first Disney Cruise and DD's first cruise ever. We have been on multiple Royal Caribbean cruises pre-kiddo though We are booked in a Cat T and looking forward to it!

I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Dan and this will be our first cruise...ever. We have never been on a cruise and are a little apprehensive about it. First, we are planners and each time I open a new thread about cruising, I get more nervous by the conversations. I've read about having to dress for dinners, there is a dress-up night, and a pirate's night, but I can't tell if that includes our trip or not. So as I try to pack (in my mind) I'm walking on board with a lot of luggage. Then there are the issues to avoid, like missing the boat, common cruise ship sickness, being in a foreign country (though I have traveled internationally before, but still) hurricanes, what is the weather going to be like in December?

But back to our intros. This will be my 40th Birthday celebration (a few months late). I will be traveling with my husband and at this time we are unsure of the kids going. We will be joined by friends of ours, but that list keeps changing. I hope to meet a lot of new friends, so don't be a stranger here.

My husband and I are booked too!!! 470 days to go!!! This is our 3rd cruise with Disney (magic 11/2004 7 day western Caribbean and magic 8/2007 10 day Mediterranean). This will be the first time on the dream. I'm so excited

Hubby & I, and our friend Brian, will be booking this cruise while on the Fantasy in 2 weeks!

We plan on running the Spacecoast half marathon in Cocoa on the Sunday before, and then possibly running the 13.1 OC half marathon in Orlando the Saturday after the cruise.

This will be our 3rd cruise - the first being the MV of the Fantasy, and the 2nd being the one we will be using to book this cruise (21-28 Sept, Fantasy).

Can't wait to see this group as it goes.

I'll be happy to organize the FE if anyone is interested in doing one.

I totally understand your apprehension! I was like that before my first cruise (MV of the Fantasy). Feel free to ask ANYTHING. I've got this down now after bugging the veteran cruisers on that trip with non-stop questions (though they didn't seem to mind helping me out).

Prepare to be spoiled!! WDW has nothing on DCL!! The service is outstanding. The food is phenomenal. And the entertainment is amazing!
