Dec12 or Feb13?!?

Ok, so my whole life (all 35 years of it) I have wanted to go to WDW. Christmas is my favorite season, so I always imagine things better at Christmastime...and from what I've heard Disney in December won't disappoint, so I've always figured that is the time of year we would go. For the past year or so, I've been saying that Dec 2012 was IT - that is when we are going, come heck or high water! Except when my parents tossed around coming with us and my mom's vacation schedule would be better for 2013, so we also discussed February 2013. I can see the advantages of that as well, so now that my DH's vacation request for July12-June13 is due tomorrow I'm on the fence about what we should plan for

We will be traveling with our almost 3yr DS and my 13yr niece, if that makes any difference...don't think my parents will be making the trip. Will more of fantasyland be open in Feb that it would make it worth the wait? Or will more attractions be closed for rehab in Feb? Will DS grow enough in those 2 months to make it on more rides?

We will likely stay at CSR, and, looking at the rates for this year Value season vs Fall season is about $10/night, so that's not a huge factor at this point. As long as we go before April, when DS turns 3! I'm just talking myself in circles right now (and DH doesn't have an opinion either way), so any pointers would be appreciated

I think more stuff goes for rehab in the jan/feb months AND personally, if you wanna go at Christmas time, do it! I originally wanted to , but we decided to go in October instead and now this is why we ae planning a Nov 2012 trip because i wanted to see the lights! HTH!!
