What a bummer, We're just flying in that day and have ressie's for 5:15 at Chef Mickey's.
If there's any other time or if you all have time to kill, come visit me at the Contemp. We'll be there by 1pm. Or if anyone's around that week, I'm there the 5th - 13th.

I have updated the thread on the meet board with our time and place. Thanks guys for narrowing it down and going with it! I have only been to the Boardwalk once!!

Just in case you're not checking the thread on the Meets board....

I've made reservations for us at the Big River Grille for 5pm on Friday, December 5th. They are setting aside 4 tables outside that will seat about 16 people comfortably.

I'm supposed to call them about a week before to update the number we're expecting. So, please let us know if you plan on being there, if you haven't already!

They're expecting us to order drinks and maybe some appetizers. But, I'm sure you could order dinner if you want to!

Oh, goody- a puzzle!!!

Car would be the fastest way.

Monorail? Well, you'd ride from the Contemporary to the TTC, change monorails, ride to the Epcot Future World entrance, and walk all the way *through* Epcot to the Boardwalk. You'd have to use park entrance media to do that- maybe not a problem with park hoppers...

Or you could take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, then walk over to the bus stop and catch the Boardwalk bus.

Or you could catch the bus from the Contemporary to MGM Studios, then catch the boat from MGM to the Boardwalk...

Or you could call a cab. Which may be what you need to do at the end of the night to get back to the Contemporary, unless you walk through Epcot and catch the monorail back.

The trickiest part is figuring out how to get around after the parks are closed, and the park busses have stopped running. I find that cab fare is a BARGAIN after a long day and with tired feet!

(Probably didn't help at all, but I have fun imagining how many possible ways there are to get around!)

thanks KathyTX! I won't have a hopper pass yet or a car. Yeah I guess it'll be a bit crazy to try to swing in for a quick hi (we have ressie's for Chef Mickey's at 5:15) Oh well, maybe I'll see some of you in the parks....
