Dec Spectro & Fantasmic Hours?

Just wondering if any of you December WDW travelers have a recollection of what time they offer Spectro and Fantasmic.

I know they will be on the early side so I am just trying to plan our days to hit those events. Granted times are always subject to change and be different from year to year but your previous experience will help.

MGM is usually a 7pm close with Fantasmic at 7pm. A couple of days before Christmas they will begin to extend the hours, but the above is usually true for the first 3 weeks of the month.

Spectromagic is nearly impossible to predict. During the slower seasons, they will usually do a couple of shows per week--one on a Tuesday or Wednesday and the other on the weekend. When held, I think the start time is around 7:30 or 8pm. But you'll probably have to wait until the schedule is released to know for sure.

Also, I'm not certain how MVMCP might impact Spectro in December.

Last year during 1st week in Dec, Spectro was held on Wednesday and Saturday nights only. I want to say it was at 6pm on Wednesday and 9pm on Saturday since the park stayed open until 11pm on Saturday only.

Fantasmic was held 7pm every night.

Thanks! That gives me something to go on as we will be there the second week of December.

I suspect that Spectro will be at least on Saturday night as there is a MVMCP on Thurs and Friday of the week we arrive- maybe even Tuesday.

I saved my info guides from last year to help plan this years so here is the times off my guides.

From MGM the guide for the week of Dec 7-13th of 2003 shows park hours from 9-7 with Fantasmic listed at 7 PM each night but Friday when it was at 6.

From MK guide for that week also it shows that Spectromagic was held on Wed and Sat at 6 PM.

Fantasmic was at 7:00 last year but there were no Osborne Lights. In 2002, the last year they had Osborne Lights, Fantasmic was at 6:00 to allow people to see the lights after. Since Osborne Lights will be back this year, I think they may go back to the 6:00 Fantasmic.

Is this correct? I'm going Dec. 5-11 and was hoping to catch Spectro that Monday night and do MVMCP Tuesday.
Oh well, only 5 more months to plan and re-plan!!!
