Dec. discount question

Hi! I just want to know how much discount is offer during the first week of december if available?

the only thing out right now would be the aaa discount (you need to be a member to get it) and it is limited availability. There are no general public, passholder, disney visa or any other such discounts. There had been a controversial postcard pin code deal (much discussion of the intent possibly being that it was meant for the public or something) that was good here and there throughout the year but that can no longer be booked. December discounts won't be out for quite a while yet.

thank you for the information. I was just wondering because I was considering renting DVC points and wanted to know which was a better option: Waiting for dec. discount or renting points.

Last year it was 20% off deluxes. I don't remember what it was for the moderates and values (a little better than 20% if memory serves). We found out at the end of September I believe.

ETA: I checked my notes and it was the middle of August, first to Disney Visa holders than to the general public a few days later.

We just got a code in the mail today. It has to be booked by May 25 and it is good until December 19. However, I tried it and it will not work for me. We want to stay in at the Comtemporary, Magic Kingdom view. - Not available using the code. OH Well. Maybe we will get another one.

Wish someone would send me a postcard with a code for December!! May I ask what it was good for, so I can hope they send me one that's good for WL.

The code said value resorts but it was for others too. I could have had a bay view at the Contemporary but we have our heart set on Magic Kingdom. I am hoping more will come out. But, you could call them and see if they have a code attached to your name or phone number. That has happened to us before and we did not receive a card.
