I need to back out of the fish extender. I was making christmas ornaments for the FE, but the main part of my ornament is on back order and won't arrive until at 12/1. We leave at 6 AM on 12/2 on Southwest and I can't make 20+ ornaments on top of packing, the day before we leave. I ordered these a month ago, but was told the backorder would be filled by end of this week. I'm so sorry for the short notice.

I am still going to do the Secret Mickey exchange though. I have plenty of time to do that!

It is the spirit not the gift. I would be pleased to get a card or something like that.

I hope you still put your FE out even if you were unable to finish your FE gift. I agree... it's the spirit, not the gift that counts.

Same here! A card is lightweight and won't take up alot of room in my suitcase going home.

My gifts aren't homemade, as I am not a crafter, but as has been said above "it's the thought that counts"!

IM JUST HEADING OUT TO DO THE LAST DAY OF SEASONS CHRISTMAS SHOW IN TORONTO, THOUGHT ID GO TO FISHLIPS WEBCAM TO SEE THE DREAM. LOOKS NICE AND SUNNY THERE. EVERYONE WILL BE UP AND GETTING READY TO DISEMBARK. IN 2 WEEKS AND A COUPLE HOURS WE WILL BE EMBARKING

We were just saying that next Sunday we'll be in Key West, the following Sunday we'll be boarding Dream and the Sunday after that we'll be at Old Key West. We have so much to do between now and Wednesday to get ready! We're going to finish packing today, then put up our Christmas tree so that we don't have to do it when we get back. We each have three days of work and then Thursday morning we'll be on our way! We'll have our Thanksgiving dinner somewhere just north of Washington, DC, breakfast a bit south of Savannah, GA, lunch south of Jacksonville and dinner in Cocoa Beach!

Just in case anyone is going to the parks before the cruise, my DH Steve, will be driving the Goofy Jeep in the 3:45 parade at Animal Kingdom on Friday. If you are there earlier in the day, you can usually find him "working" with Flik outside It's a Bug life. Steve always loves to meet fellow cruisers so feel free to stop by and harass him!!

We are soooooooo ready for this cruise and are counting the days, hours, minutes........I am sure you understand

I've looked for alternative fish extender ideas and nothing is working out. Anything I can personalize and order won't be here on time and I can't find anything at dollar stores, craft stores, party stores or Walmart/Target. I've been looking since last week and have come up empty handed. I really need to focus now on Thanksgiving, my last few days at work, and packing/getting ready for this amazing trip!

Joe and I would rather you not include us in your FE gifts. I appreciate the thought and generosity, but it would just make us feel awful, since we didn't give anything in return. I really hope you can understand and abide by our wishes.

On a happier note, we are looking forward to meeting you all on the cruise. When things are finally decided on the meet time, let us know. Only 12 days til we leave for Disney and two weeks from now we will be on the Dream! I can't wait!

I understand Rhode Island Quahog...just bummed.

As far as I know the Dismeet is still at 3pm in D Lounge. I personally, wouldn't mind if it was changed to accommodate the ones torn between the DVC meet and ours. I just don't know when that would be. I saw on one of the trip report threads (don't ask me which one, I read most of them) they had their meet up in the atrium and took a group picture in front of the huge Christmas tree in the atrium. It was really a nice pic! It would be great to get a group pic at some point!

MAYBE THEY COULD COME UP TO D LOUNGE RIGHT AFTER. WE WERE MEETING AT 3pm. IM SURE MOST OF US WILL BE STILL THERE AT 3:30 BEFORE WE MAKE OUR WAY TO OUR SEPARATE DRILL STATIONS.

I usually have a schedule for cruises but this one I plan yo take it easy and really enjoy. I am up for whetever the group decided. We will probably skip the DVC meet since we never win the raffle LOL and right now there is no way we can afford to add points. No need for a sales pitch!
