I forgot to mention yesterday....

that I am at 70 days!

So far this week: I gave half deposit to a contractor to finally repairing my house from damage in March (read: $$$$), had a car accident, my bro still didn't keep his word, found out a dear family friend went into Hospice last night and more than a little bit stunned & hurt that 3 really good friends (for decades!) planned a trip to Italy months ago and "accidentily" told me today. And I'm not sure whether it's over yet. So, you know, I've been a little stressed out.

And I still need to decide to AP or not to AP.

I'm over the friend thing, but it'll take me awhile to get back to being normal-ish with them.

So far, my family friend is hanging in there, but it doesn't look good. So, next week might not be better. Sigh. Just makes me prioritize to be a better person for this one life I've got.

Very true, except my airport doesn't have Southwest

But we do have JetBlue

How far are you from Philly? I know we would occasionally drive up to Newark...or to Allentown...or to BWI

I'm up in northeast NJ; so a couple hours away? I'm 20 minutes from Newark, so unless there is helluva good deal, I usually only fly out of Newark.

Besides, the car service would probably eat up any savings.

I confirmed my condo for my December week.

I also updated my car ressie for October trip.

Also, Candlelight Procesional packages will go on sale on August 26, so I'll be working with my friend Mary & her mom on which restaraunt & time to see the show.

The October Illumination cruise has been cancelled since the DISer who booked the boat canceled their trip. On the flip side, it saves a few bucks.

Then I need to take a closer look at my ADRs and see what I should keep or cancel. Or add? Via Napoli??


Now, I just need to get my airfare situated for December & the important stuff is all done.

Right now, airfare for Continental is SKY-HIGH; now I can use miles but its 50,000! wow! all the 25,000 rewards are gone. and I don't know whether it's a *confirmed seat* or a standby thing. If I was leaving 2 days before, it's $158 r/t. Argh.

Jetblue is at $337, which is signif lower than Continental, but still pretty-high. Any JB fans who think airfare will decrease? (Fri departure).

I decided last night to go to the DIS Meet at Hersheypark this weekend.

It's in the thread called "Dis'ers Do Disney - Sweet Meet" under the Planning Forum --> Unplugged podcast or just go to my history.

If any other nearby people are around, you should try to make it. It's turning out to be quite the turnout!!!!!!

Well, I have to say it wasn't the msot welcoming.

Thankfully, I know 1 person & her fam that were going plus I was able to meet a couple who were there at the meet and they acted as our tour leaders.

There was another local DISer from another thread that also made it. So, we kinda made our own Dis meet.

I think I may plan to go back in September before the season closes.

Room discounts are out for December, so I'm hoping to make reservations soon. and also, hoping my newly-minted AP will also give me some good rates. I'm thinking to make it easy on myself & my wallet & just go with POP.

Now, if my December flight can go back to normal pricing, I'll be golden.

and for my October trip, I also saw that there is a Food & Wine Classic at the Swan/Dolphin for the day that I want to hit Jellyrolls. I think I smell a change in the schedule!!!

Also, for the October trip, I will be purchasing MNSSHP tickets soon.

I didn't get AP rates since the general public rates were better. Not really sure how that happened, but there it is!

I've been wanting to go too. I usually go every summer but haven't made the trip this year (it's about 3 hours from here). My nephews are going on Sunday and my SIL invited me to go with them but since I just paid off Disney, I need to start saving here and there for spending money!
