I decided it would drive me & to actually make 2 separate PTRs. So.....

October Trip - is now complete & TR will be up soon!

I'm heading back to WDW for Food & Wine Festival!! I wanted to go and this has been over a year in planning. Since this is not my usual time to go, I do not say a trip is on until I buy airfare. I scored great airfare the other day, so I'm official!

I will also be with friends & family, so I'm not entirely solo this time around, but I will have a few days to myself. And of course, I will be seeing Mr. Harry Potter on my travels. The last time I was at Universal, was the opening day of the Simpson Ride, which, I believe was May 2005.

My Dates:

-- 10/6 to 10/10: staying with BFF in FL & spending time with goddaughter
-- 10/10 to 10/17: timeshare condo

My Cast:

-- Me
-- my BFF in FL Jennifer & her family, incl. her parents, husband, goddaughter Miranda-panda hunny bunny
-- my sister Lori-Anne & our niece Jenna, coming the night on 10/12
UPDATE: Jenna will not be coming on this trip. So now, it is just a sisters trip.

-- family in Tampa area, may or may not show up; they are sort of last minute people

We will be celebrating Lori-Anne's 40th birthday ​

As noted above, I am not staying on Disney property at all this trip. As you may remember, I do visit Florida at least, a couple of times a year because of my family, my goddaughter and that my timeshare is based there. I detest exchanging, so there it is. The timeshare does allow these trips to be cost-effective without staying with family & friends.

December trip

As some of you may know, my "usual" time to visit Florida is in early December; specifically since that is when I own my timeshare week. Hence, it became my default visiting week.

Last year was my first Disney immersion trip for the holiday season and it was wonderful. Please visit my TR to read up all about it. This year, I hope to repeat some, but still have a few twists & turns.

My Dates:
-- 12/3 to 12/10: timeshare condo
-- 12/10 to 12/14: POP Century

My Cast:
-- Me
-- BFF in NJ Mary & her mom
-- BFF in FL Jennifer & goddaughter, I'm sure to see
-- should be having a bunch of meet-ups with Disney pals

Recently, public discounts and AP discounts came out for December, so I booked my resort. Finally. I didn't use AP rates, since the general discounts were better. (update: changed to AP rates since it seems my AP booker was wrong! saved $20. woot!)

hoping to visit Big Cat Rescue in Tampa
hoping to visit with Tampa family

leave BFF's house, head to timeshare condo
Lunch ADR at Wolfgang Puck Cafe (cancel, since now going to Corn Maze)
Pirates & Pal cruise for later that night
(need to cancel dinner ADR I made prev to getting Cruise)

Magic Kingdom Day; planning to attend MNSSHP

Dinner ADR at Tony's Town Square
(I *may* cancel dinner ADR..more time for party needed?)

Lunch ADR at Brown Derby for Fantasmic seating
(cancel regular lunch ADR)

* Made lunch ADR for Sci-Fi at Hollywood Studios for the sister & niece (who is no longer going), think my sis will stay at the resort b/c some fam might be visiting.

I was sadly lacking.

I was in the middle of trying to finish other TRs and start other TRs...I just got around to writing up a PTR now. I also couldn't handle writing 2 separate PTRs! I'll be this

Staying at Westgate Resorts! Hopefully, will be visiting Celebration at some point on either of the trips since I'l be so close!

I can't figure out days until D23 sets out their information! argh. it's a 4 day difference that might be the make-it-or-break-it. It def driving me a little batty.

Or just get the AP & say the hell with it; it'll just work out.

Or get the DL & DW AP since I *plan* on visiting DL in 2011.

Since we're planning on visiting the WWoHP and that whole day is going to be one big OOP expense, I don't think MNSSHP will be a priority. If the people I'm traveling with see the signs for it throughout MK and seem interested once we're down there, it could be a possibility.

some updates:

-- changed my Cape May ADR for Oc 17th for a later breakfast time; a sleep-in might be needed.

-- still checking through car rates, what I have it holding steady; same for airfares for December. Ugh.

-- still haven't made any decisions either way for buying separate tickets or an Annual Pass.
