Love to cruise DCL-
Since you have cruised NYE before I want to ask you a question. Is NYE worth the extra expense (my kids are convinced it is)? We always have a blast, but it is quite a bit more to go at this time of the year. Was it reasonably warm on the sea day heading home? Our Western last Feb was freezing on deck coming back into Galveston. We were in jeans and sweat shirts.

I too am unable to locate the group on Facebook---hours I spent in frustration! Granted, I just joined Facebook to participate in my DCL Fantasy Christmas cruise. Sigh. I am Rory Cardi on Facebook---can someone who owns the group please please please invite me to join?!!!!!!!!!

As a furloughed Fed (sigh) I thought I would start working on my FE gifts.

To my knowledge the FE list is up to date an accurate. After I reorganized it only a couple people noted changes. I went through and double checked *everything* and I'm quite sure it's all good.

I might have mentioned way back a possible meet before the muster drill. We have done this on a couple of our past cruises.
If anyone else is interested, I'll organize this.

We have always met in D lounge.

I can have name tags and a few activities for the kids.

I'm guessing this means that there will be 20 FEs. With varying numbers in each room.
Generally people only list their room if they'll have one. I think the total number of people is just over 60.

Ok sorry for what could be a repetitive question or I will go as far as a stupid question.....but here it goes...
Is there an actual spread sheet/list for the FE list that has names ages actual number of people etc.
I see info in threads but don't see a link to an actual printable spreadsheet.
I am SOOOO SORRY if I have missed it but we are going on the Magic on 11/29 and I have been more focused on that than this cruise and now I need to focus on our wonder NYE cruise!!!

GTY means people purchase a guaranteed category but don't get to pick there cabin number..DCL assigns the cabin number closer to the time of the trip...it may be too early for the GTY people to have their cabin assignments yet..but it may be worth a post reminding them to post them in the FE list as soon as they get them
If people get them in in time I will make a map of the decks and note the cabin numbers on each deck

I tried to figure out how to add names correctly, but couldn't.
It looks like you know how. I just added 2 names to our group and what it did was just double up on line 9&10.
Could you fix that for me? I would really appreciate it, that way the total passenger count won't be incorrect.
Please let me know if you need any info. Thank you so much!

And to the rest of the group, we will have a FE for each room, 5 pockets each, so 2 FE total for our group of 10.
If you plan to do just one gift per room, just put it in the top pocket and we'll share

I've fixed it up for you Shanna. Those spreadsheets can be sensitive!

As for GTY rooms, I have one and have been checking for updates almost daily. I've heard we can expect actual room assignments for GTY rooms about 45 days out, so it's getting close!

The other thing to keep in mind is some people may upgrade at port, which would change their room numbers. We'll want to organize something so that people can double check room assignments once we set sail. Either through a gathering or someone hosting a master list at their door which could be updated.

Anyway - Tell me more about the FE - I think this would be fun! What do you need to know about us?
