how is everyone??? we've had a crazy BUSY strawberry season - lots of long hours - but NOT complaining...just haven't been on here - manage to stay up with FB - most of you are there so you already know that....

Ryan left for college a few wks ago & LOVES it...he's at the University of the Pacific in Stockton studying Mechanical Engineering. He has a fairly busy schedule with 3 chemistry classes (lecture - lab & wkshop) 2 engineering class, a calculus & a society class...he was home for the 3=day wkend and he'll be back in 3 wks, as my daughter's wedding is that Saturday Oct 3rd..wow this year went by quickly!!!

Yes, the Magicmeets choice seemed very odd to me as well. The "Boss" stated it was due to pricing and heading off potential legal issues with MM and the Disney name.

Great news regarding Ryan and college...I spoke to my neph yesterday, he's attending Keane-he says he is enjoying it and keeping up with his work. My only suggestion to him was to not let himself fall behind cause once behind it's almost impossible to catch back up and still come out with a decent grade.

I booked, or actually Jocelyn at the DCL desk on board booked for me. I'm linked with a gold so I was able to get mine today

Prices on the repo are better than I thought. I was planning on it just for me (& some girl friends) but I might grab a kiddo instead

Alaska is the 4 of us so far, 2 rooms cat 9 & 10

that's the good news.

bad news is Paul's Sony gig ended so he is looking for work and I am too. need to pay the mortgage then worry about the rest of the cruise stuff.

I'd still love to hear about when Dreams is coming out. I have a dummy just hanging around in case I need it

I moved our dummy booking to Alaska - 08/23/2011 - wow that is a long way off

not much else is new - Kara is settling into college thing, she has started the practicing driving with my car and 3rd day out - hit a parked car at the library - 1,600.00 later

We are heading to California on the 21st (hope it warms up a little). We are hoping to meet up with Rus and Michelle while we are there (fingers crossed that it works for them).

We are still booked on the 7 day 2010 Christmas cruise on the Wonder. I know that we will meet some nice people (the thread is not very active yet), but I have the feeling that nothing will compare to our 2008 New Years friends.

Just bought a new imac and had to transfer all of my pics over, spent a lot of time looking at the pics from our cruise, a lot of smiles there.

Artie...it was 45 degs this a.m. (instead of the recent 28 we've had)...SO i think you WILL get some decent Calif winter weather!!!!

I love it, I have been a PC user since I got rid of my Radio Shack TRS-80 with the tape drive. Now we are full fledged Apple people.

Wow, so similar here. Atari pong was the first game playing one we had.

I had a tape drive comp also.
Radio shack Tandy
and an AST.
Then on and on.

Of course that means we know dos.

My 53 pages of New Years Eve cruise album is on my facebook....have to say i really do like it!!!! Next project - Jen's beautiful wedding...need to complete that before she and I sail the eastern next october....soooo looking forward to that trip...wish more of you were going along with us, but so glad the McMurphys are and it wouldn't be the same without Chel & Rus and we have some other mutual friends as well as my sis and her daughter who is 11! so will be another wonderful time.
Just FYI...Colleen is handling all my ressies for this cruise and has done a wonderful job - she had to juggle alot of things to get me upgraded to a 4 person stateroom to add on deb & joeli. Next time you're cruising - give her a try!!!!
