The job is ok, the travel training continues,
my college classes are already headed into the third week and I just got back from a photo gig

Tomorrow, we go to my sister's for the Superbowl

have I told you guys my Mom is gonna be a great grandmother?

My sister's oldest just told us he and his woman are about 7 weeks along

I think Mom's fine with being the great grandmom, my Bro in Law has already accepted the name of Pop pop, it's my sister who's having issues- John call her Grannie but she's looknig for a "cooler" name for herself.

Kara's high school swim career is over - she didn't qualify to move on either individually or the relay teams she was on

turn in equipment tomorrow - she didn't even 'earned' enough points to recieve her 4th yr varisty letter - maybe this will be the 'wake up' call she needs

Our snow and ice are slowly melting - it will take awhile though

Aw what a bummer for Kara, and for you Marla. Oh well, what can you do, it's over, but at least she can still swim for a college team. Maybe she was getting tired of swimming?? One good thing, the years of swimming have sculped her a nice body!

Tig and Jill, wow, was it a surprise? I'd freak out if my sons came home with that news! But a big congratulations to having a new baby in the family. Grannie is out for your sis...sounds old. Hmmm this is a hard one. Down south they call grandmothers "Honeymom". How about that? Nah. Well, now we have something to ponder over for the coming months!

We are celebrating today, Wilson won a great honor last night at his karting dinner of The Most Improved Junior Driver award.

We don't expect to be at Marina this year for racing, but never say never.

I'll have Paul email ya the race dates, 3 at Dixon and 7 at Infineon (yeah bathrooms and hot water)

Molly's play is the second week-weekend in March, once tickets are online I'll let ya know. Wed-Sat March 4-7th at pm She will be so excited if you guys can make it. Sadly, she isn't going to be on stage much, I learned last week she is singing backstage, so weird. Not like any other performance this director has developed. She does have some lines so that is good, but it's nice to "SEE" your child even if they aren't in a lead

We went to the cottage yesterday and made a fire, roasted some hotdogs and had a game of scrabble. It was a great day.

BTW, Claudia won the scrabble game beating me by 8 points (I guess those 6 years of university paid off). Owen had a good showing only 20 points behind me (ya that's right, I kicked some 8 yo butt).
