Dec 27/08 NYE Western Cruise - Really New Thread

We aren't even done with laundry...just no big desire to get it done :sad2:

Just tonight we figured out that I had not put our passports away :scared1: Paul has to take Willies for Little League registration and Paul couldn't find them where we keep them :scared1: Eekkkk I had left them all in my purse. Glad we got them out and now they are safely put away.

Next week Molly goes to camp for 3 nights, should be interesting with out her home. Quiet anyways.

Willie and I have been enjoying our Wii Indiana Jones game.

I'm hoping to go to Lee's next week and get working on our photobook from Photopass. Sadly we are missing 2 cards. Hope they turn up soon :sad1:

Just popping in to say "HI!!!" :wave2: :wave2: :wave2: Hope everyone's healthy and happy... :grouphug:

I really am hoping this year is tons better than last~

:wizard:

I'm hopeful it will be too! ::yes:: Good luck in your new career, Tigg! I am so pleased for you, hon...

We're having a bit of a scare of the mo - the company Dick and Sophie work for is on the verge of collapse, all vested stock is worthless and there's no certainty they'll have jobs on Monday... These are crappy times...

Like you have in your sig, "life will be fine in 2009"!

I like that! I'm gonna keep saying it all over the weekend...

Off to get ready for the gym - I have a new personal trainer from today as my girl is travelling for a few months. This one's male and has already blown me off twice - so we'll see... :sad2:

Hugs... xxx

Oh Kaz, I think of you and Dick everytime I hear about Citi's troubles.
Kaz, British Airways has a $186 fare each way from JFK to Heathrow, Dec. 24th '09 - Jan. 2 '10. I'm thinking of booking now for my trip to visit my brother in Mildenhall. I's a year away, but something for me to look forward to...meeting you! My brother tells me Mildenhall isn't tons far from Kent.

Thank you, Aisling! Worthless stock, worthless pension - it's a struggle to keep ones rather fabulous sense of humour at times like these... Ah well, easy come, easy go - we should know more on Monday...

Sweetie, $372 return seems a great fare and I promise I will come and find you wherever you are!!! :flower3:

I'd jump on that fare!

You could be with them over Christmas! Would you fly with Brian?

Kaz, we're all gonna feel this one.

P&PD for good financial planning and New & Better Opportunities in all of our futures!:wizard:

I hope this means everyone is out having a good time!

=Brenda, I wanted to ask you where you bought the beautiful shoes you wore on NYE. I love them, and I'd love to have a pair just like them...

:
From Macy's....i thought you'd like them!!! they're by Nina

Still finding it hard to adjust to real life? Here are some steps I've taken.

1. All of my employees are now know as Castmembers.
2. Make frequent trips to the grocery store and DMV to stand in line.
3. As we enter our dining room for dinner, Owen hands out antibacterial wipes.
4. Every Sunday is Pirate night.
5. Installed a Fish Extender outside my bedroom door.
6. Chocolates on the pillow every night.
7. I carry my Visa and Drivers license in a lanyard.
8. Have a Fun in the Sun dance party every day (Hey Baby.....)

Any other ideas?
LOVE THIS!!

wow - you have all been chatty....i've been crazy busy at work, and it really shouldn't be this way in jan - but with businesses closing all around, im glad it is...

Sooooo Ryan's 18th BD was this past Thursday.....oh my - so hard to believe, but getting ready for his "BD" celebration tomorrow...along with Jennifer & I attending a bridal faire - she really has everything all together though...she's so organized and has a great website up for the wedding....with all the details...travel arrangements....etc. it's a destination wedding (Playa del Carmen near Cancun)....so that's our big trip (and expense) this year....

Leaving for Memphis Wed morning for a Thursday morning 2-hour mtg, then flying right back home for my annual scrapbooking event in the mountains friday - we've had beautiful warm weather for over a week, and of course, once we get to the mtns, we're to have rain - i kid you not it rains every year up there.....

Did i tell you that Dale's company is closing the facility where he's at? Fortunately, he still has a job, just has to travel alot more...will be gone 2 - 5 days a week depending on time of year....that will be really sad - esp once Ryan goes away to school next year...

well i'm off to clean house = do laundry - all that stuf.....see ya later...
and SO GLAD you're all mostly on facebook...Aisling - you've got an account right?? fire up that laptop and get on there....Marla, Kara can help you...we've kept in touch and i love looking at her photos...ESPECIALLY the one in her combat gear....:rotfl2: she's a keeper

ps...Nan - when is Molly's play? of course we need to come see it....

First weekend in March (not the scrap weekend, the next one) she will be so excited to see you guys. She had her rehersal for her lines on Friday, it ran longggggg. But she was very happy with all she did and how it's blocked. Paul went to a wrokshop this morning, but I didn't hear what if anything he worked on. Granny has a house so I figured he would like to build that for her. I'm so glad he is willing to work on this stuff on her behalf. She really enjoys that Dad makes the sets.

Wow, 18, congrats to you both. Birthdays as I've said before are just as much about the mama as the child. I know I love reliving that day in my mind and usually watch the videos of the day with the kids. (Of course Wilson can't be bothered to watch himself as a crying baby, it's too annoying for him :lmao:

Aisling your UK trip has me watering at the mouth...what is it about travel that just makes me want to go go go all the time???

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Paul is going to ok a slipped in Magic cruise in September '09 with a few from my repo gang. A friend has a cat 12 booked, and invited me to come share it with her. It's really reasonable so I hope I can swing it. Just hard to justify the expense like that when I'm not working so we'll see...

Paul did have a revelation on the ship that cruising to me is like the joy he gets from spending time and money on Willie's racing. So thankfully there are no more conversations about why I like this so much. He also said one day he hopes to cruise with a carryon bag and just buy the clothes we need on the trip to outfit ourselves. Kinda like that idea :thumbsup2

p.s. Brenda, Paul did get Wii set up, but I'm paitently waiting for him to get it on the internet, I'm sure there are a whole bunch of people out there that I need to exchange Miis with :cheer2:

awesome - its on my calendar so we'll be there....email me the details....

kind of figured Paul must have gotten the Wii set up...no one could wait this long...& i set up the internet myself on ours...it was simple girly...bet you could do it...let me know when you do - we'll get some online games going....

i love Pauls idea of traveling with a carryon & BUYING EVERYTHING....he's my kind of guy!!!

Hi magic mateys! See Aisling, it's not just me who wants you on facebook!

You all dont know I sent her an invite and she called me a pain for askin ;)

Mom is officially back on the best Mom in the world list. She bought me an early bday/christmas gift to help me out with my travel business...I am currently dising zfrom my new ipod!

Brenda, I got over my need for a stylus cause I finally figured out how to zoom my screens ... Yay!

Happy Belated Birthday to Ryan!

Brenda, I love destination weddings. Jen made a great choice. She sounds like she inherited her organizational/planning skills from her mama! Keep us updated.

About Facebook, Myspace...I tried, I really did! I created accounts and then deleted them. From what I can surmise, these accounts are so people can find you, and the last thing I want is to have a ton of people from my past (who I'm happy to be away from) contacting me and knowing all my business and seeing my photos. And yes I called tiggie a pain!:p

Eileen and Anjelica, the stingray cds are in. They ended up making 3 copies for us anyway, even tho we all chipped in for one! Adresses needed, please. Rus and Ryan, you too.

I have seen people on facebook put something different as their name...

if you use something like Cruising Princess, noone will ever find you that you dont want to find you. Facebook is very private, it's impossible to see someone's page unless they are let in.

You should try it one more time, for us~

I have to agree with Aisling, I think you can see stuff on other peoples pages, so I get it if she doesn't want to join in. I figure I'll just bug Chad when I need to reach her. Close enough right :rotfl:

howdy

long weekend and just walked in the door

longest swim meet weekend in the history of swim meets

Think between premlins and finals - we have been in 8 counties this weekend

Not bad - but not good

For her individual events - she did not qualify to swim at finals but 3 of the 4 relays that she was on did qualify -

for the one relay - they even had to do a swim off at finals to see which team would swim at finals - their relay won the 16th spot and then about 8 minutes later they had to swim it again - moving up a spot from 16th to 15th

Got our airline tickets today for the EFW on 10/24/09 to 10/30/09, got my ressie at SSR for the week. In a few weeks we are going to try for the Concierge Level at AKL.::cop:

The lotto is 33 million Wed night if we win we'll meet you there Rus. Better yet you can stay at the house we buy with the winnings.

I'm one of those people that only buy when the jackpot is huge and then expect to win. :)
