That is the peak season for Disney. I doubt very much you'll get any kind of discount with Disney. you might be able to find deals outside of Disney, but we learned the hard way, not to fall for it. Your far better reccommending a value resort with Disney than even a 5star DTD resort. If someone wants to stay off site, dont give them grief, but dont reccommend it to anyone wither.

Your guests should really be booking already, so I would reccommend you have them decide where they want to stay and possibly pair them with other travelers who might want to split a room. Have them look at the home away from home resorts as well because you can get up to 12 people in the grand villas, also good for splitting with another family and with full kitchens they can dine in and save on food.

If you are having your wedding at WDW, I would suggest discussing your plans with Guest Services. You may be able to secure a discount if you are looking for a large block of rooms.

thanks for your reply, i am a newbie, and i have never heard "home away from home" , what are these? are they far? and they can fit 12 ppl for one room? are they usually expensive? thx a lot

Go over to disneyworld.com and check out the resorts. The home away from home resorts are villas that range in size from studios with kitchenettes to 3 bedroom grand villas that have one room with a king bed, 2 more rooms with two queens each, plus a sleeper sofa in the living room.

The Ft Wilderness cabins are the best price wise and sleep 6 (four in the bedroom (one set of bunk beds and a double) and two in the living room on a murphy. AAA usually offers a 25% discount, but you may be going during a black out period.

Disney sells timeshare interest in most of these resorts so there are also known as DVC (disney vacation club) resorts. DVC members will rent out points which can be a great deal, but I doubt you will be able to find enough points for that week.

If you want to keep everyone close, the wilderness Lodge and the wilderness lodge villas cover a pretty wide range of options. The lodge is a deluxe resort with standard rooms all the way up to suites. the villas dont have grand villas, but the two bedrooms do sleep 8. And Ft wilderness is right next door. But really, I think everyone staying anywhere in property is probably close enough to be comfortable.
