Anyone have any suggestions on how to get 5pm Epcot dinner ressies. I started trying exactly 180 days out without success. All I've been able to secure is 5:50 and beyond. Late for my little ones. CMs say it's b/c of the Candlelight package, which I don't want.

They mean that a number of tables were set aside exclusively for the Candlelight packages, which cuts down on regular reservation availability.

Because the window has been open for over a month it's possible they're all booked up. All you can do is keep going online and checking for an opening at the time you want. Try for sure at this time, because some guests might cancel reservations because they are rebooking Candlelight packages. Is is certain restaurants you are trying to get?

Does it have to be 5pm? I have an ADR for LeCellier at 5:15 on 12/24. I actually just got that about a week ago. Our original ADR that I made at 180 days out was for 6:45 but I was afraid that it would be too late to get in the standby line for the CP. I just happened to try again for some different times about a week ago and the 5:15 time came up. How many are in your party? We are a party of 4.

Keep trying on the website every chance you get. I swear the availability changes every minute!

Trying to get online to check now, but system seems frozen. I actually got Le Cellier last week too for 5:30. Was really thrilled. I had been trying for four years there. As for where I'm trying, I just put out a search for Epcot. I'm not too fussy--just not Nine Dragons or the Pub--dh says it's overpriced.

Askershus isn't on Candlelight Processional ressies and had openings when I try. Best bet is to try for the restaurants that don't have packages.

Reservation times have opened up! I was able to get La Hacienda, Tokyo dining and Akershus all at 5pm. My dd would like Coral Reef one night. I'll have to keep checking for her, but as it stands, I'm happy. Thanks everybody.:thumbsup2
