2011. Entertainment book car rental codes are valid through June, 2012.Dan - what entertainment ID did you use (We own the 2011 and 2012 entertainment books)?
I'm trying for December 6th to the 13th.I must be doing something wrong. No matter what Alamo IDs or Codes I enter, I get the exact same rates as I do when entering no codes. And they're not cheap, lol!I'm trying for December 6th to the 13th.
Also, yesterday the SUV was wicked cheap. Today, not so much. And that was without codes and coupons. Like I said, I must be missing something.
I just put in Dec 6-13, random pick up/drop off times and got a mid-size SUV for $153 taxes/fees included. That was with the Costco ID and Alamo Insiders $35 coupon.
I've been trying Visa and Entertainment.com. I guess it's all in the timing.
That's a tough one since the "local" locations are not open on Christmas Day. You can get an Intermediate SUV for $307 per week with taxes from BUDGET using the DISBoards code Y937800 and a $25 coupon here: http://www.budgetcarrental.com/budget/coupons/assoc/25offwkly.html?BCD=X793200&CPN=MUWZ023&logo=1. It's not ideal, but it's better than the $700+ rates at other companies. You are going during THE busiest time of year and the car rental companies know it!There doesnt seem to be any relief for those of us who are there between Dec 25 and Jan 1. If anyone knows of any significant relief for those dates, please post up. Thanks.

What kind of vehicle are you looking for, mikehn?
I just popped your dates into www.carrentalsavers.com, and came up with a SUV from Budget for $250/wk, $332 all taxes and fees included. Then if you used coupon code MUWZ023 you could get another $25 off, I believe. Not a fabulous rate, but certainly not as high as some of the other prices I have seen for that time period.
We arrive December 31st, and a great rate continues to elude us as well. We currently have an economy car reserved for $179 ($255 taxes and fees in) with Enterprise, but I continue to watch the prices daily in an effort to snag a better deal (and a bigger car). If this is the best it gets, then we can live with the tiny vehicle for a week.

Our rates are still horrid too. The best we have is $389.xx with the code for national.al through my husbands work & that's for an full size car. I really would at least like an intermediate suv for that horrid of a price.
What dates are you looking at? I've found the int SUV to be cheapest for weeks....maybe a different code would help?
Did you try the codes I posted in post #227? I think they will help you.We need it from 12:30 am on 12/30 to 6:00 pm on 1/5. TIA
