Dec 2010 Waitlist - Whose came through?

Just booked a vacation today for a one bedroom at SSR Dec 12-Dec 19. I am waitlisted for Dec 11.

Booked AKV Jambo SV studio at about 4 months out and had to WL for the first night 11/28 and the last 12/1. Both have come through already. I think needing only one night on each end helped. When I waitlisted for Oct last year for a week it never came through.

Yay!! Just checked my reservation on line and my waitlist came thru in just one day. I also waitlisted for the BWV. I am not going to keep my fingers crossed on that one but a little pixiedust would be nice.

We are still waiting for our WL to come through for 2 studios at OKW 12/2 but we were finally able to get 2 1bdrm at SSR for that night. At least we we finally able to get a room through DVC! So happy to not have to pay $$$!

Still waiting for a BLT studio, LV or SV for December 14 to 17th! I have AKV Jambo, standard studio.

Hope you get it Bobbi. But I love the Standard View at Jambo. It's a lovely pool view. And highly underrated. Have you stayed in that category before?

Me - my December waitlist came through very early in the game for - I'm laughing - because I just realized it's for Standard at Jambo - studio. Too funny. I had SSR orignally. For the last three days of my trip - December 26-29.

We are on WL for BWV 2br Dec 25-29. Currently have same resort/room Dec 22-25 then switch to VWL 2br Dec 25-29. We just don't want to switch because we have a large family...but we were not planning on going to parks on Christmas Day, so it is a good day for us to move...we were @ VWL the entire week, but want to try BWV (have never stayed there before and wanted to try Epcot resort) so WL half stay at a time....first half came thru after 4 weeks...no luck yet with the second half...

The ironic thing is...when we first toyed with the idea of switching, the second half was available, but not the first half, then when we decided to switch, nothing was avail. and we had to waitlist...

We waitlisted for a studio at BLT (lake view) for the last 2 nights of our stay and DH checked a while back and it had come through

The dates were 26th and 27th December, we had already secured 23rd to the 25th at 7 months out

Got my AKV studio for 12/1 which completed that reservation. Now have one out there for 12/5 for a studio or 1 BR for DD and family for just the one night.

Hey, that's great that you got it!

When I booked standard view at Jambo, it was what I wanted, but a friend is now coming with me, and I really would like to have access to TOWL so she could see fireworks from up there.

No, I've never stayed Jambo standard, but I love Jambo, and, I hope she will too!

Still nothing for me. But I am starting to be totally ok with it. I am probably going to call and cancel our waitlist next week. I want to stay at BLT but we have a ded 2bd HH at OKW not sure I want to give that up for a 1bd LV at BLT for MORE points. I think I will take the extra space and the extra points.

Set up a WL yesterday for AKV to add a day on the beginning and end of our trip. Today one of the days came through! Talk about fast Disney magic! We were supposed to be at BWV that night, 12/18, hopefully this helps someone else!

I don't think I have ever quoted myself before... Got an email today from MS that my second WL came through!!! We now have 6 consecutive nights at AKLV! SWEET!!! I had no hope for getting it but am so glad we did! Watch out mouse here were come!!!

If you want it to extend up to 7 days before, you have to tell MS that. Sometimes they ask you when you set up the waitlist. You can call to be sure it's the way you want it to be.
