Believe it! Cause we did it! It was all in good fun and we laughed so much that day. Reese has a few things up her sleeve for Disney but won't tell me what it is. So I am sure this girl trip is going to be so much fun, especially when Reese gets crazy ideas in her head, she likes to laugh at herself

Thanks for your congrats, I know Reese is stoked. Cheering for 2 squads at one time is hard but she loves every minute of it.

You're scrapbook pages were awesome. I agree with the simple pages concept although every now and then I'll get fancy. LOL'd at the picture of your table with all the Disney embellishments. I have all of mine in a huge Michael's bag because I went a little crazy and spent about $80 on the Jolee's because Michael's put them on sale.

Congrats to your DD & her squad for their win too. That must've been fun. So when are they going to Orlando for their cheerleading competition they have there. Of course you know you're going to have to plan a Disney trip around that.

When I explained to him about the DIS and that's how we identify ourselves and what not he just shrugged and said whatever. He brought the LHMH's though without question. He's such a good brother.

It's funny, Reese looks like she's running in this pic but she is actually dancing.

We have talked about doing a competition in Orlando, it's still up in the air. Myrtle Beach was a huge step for us, we have always just done local competitions, the furthest one away being in Philly. But you know if ever we did go to Orlando there would most definatley be a Disney trip in with that.

Cinderella16Welcome to my pre TR, I remember the days when I stored all my scrapbook stuff in plastic totes, once the kids were too old for a play room I took over, it's nice to be able to sit down and just work without having to haul everything out. For a while I had a little corner of the den but I couldn't stand to see the mess. I hope you get your own private scrap room someday.

Crocs have been the question for months now, to croc or not to croc, that is the ask!!!!

DisUnc has them! UtahMama wears them with socks! Everywhere I turn people are posting "I broke down and bought the crocs" Why is it so difficult for me to decide?

Reese, Coach and Coley have all said if I wear crocs they wouldn't be seen with me. That is harsh! I seriously doubt they will go through with their threats, but I am sure I will be the butt of all their jokes. Really I am a big girl and I can take the razzing, why can't I just decide?

I have always chosen fashion over comfort (my idea of fashion anyway) but this is Disney and a whole different ball game. My last trip I had blisters the size of Spaceship earth after my first 3 hours of walking around MK, by day 3 I had blisters on those blisters. I have tried mole skin and walked a mile it didn't work for me, I tested the deodarant on the feet theory, all that came from that was good smelling feet, I am researching this hefty! I think my only hope is the crocs. they are so hideous looking, if I am offending anybody I apologize, actually kudos to you, you have the right attitude to wear them, I guess I need an attitude adjustment, to me the crocs remind me of those spongey bath toys that stick to the tub walls.

I swear to you right hand up to God this conversation between Kent and I really happened...
I was at the kitchen table telling him of DisUncs adventure on mission space at Epcot

Me: And it popped his jibitz right off his crocs.
DH: sounds painful
Me: I think it was.
DH: sounds contagious too.
Me: (giggle) probably is.
DH: How do you want your eggs?
Me: Dippy, no slime.
DH: Toast?
Me: yes, wheat lightly buttered. I am thinking on getting a pair of crocs.
DH: whatever.
Me: They are soooooo ugly, but everyone on the Disboards said they work.
DH: If everyone on the Disboards wore their underwear on their heads would you?

Me: If it prevented blisters?...Yeah!
DH: Then get the crocs.
Me: If I get the crocs I'm gonna want the jibbitz too.
DH: I am sure you would.
Me: I'm gonna want all kinds of jibbitz to change in and out.
DH: Of course you will.
Me: But I'm gonna want my jibbitz to match my crocs.
DH: Wouldn't want your jibbitz to not match your crocs!

(Yes, I know he is mocking me)

Me: So I should get different colored crocs too, like 3 pair.
DH: Is that all?!
Me: I think jibbitz come in pairs.
DH: Jibbitz sounds like a fishing lure..." caught this big mouth bass using a glitter spin jibbit.

Me: Dude! Serioulsy! Should I go with all Disney jibbitz or mix it up a bit?
DH: I know I like my jibbitz with gravy!
Me: I could buy a bunch of jibbitz and match them to my crocs and then my crocs to my outfit.

DH: You take the simplist things and make them difficult. It's shoes, get them or don't!

Me: I'll go online and look again. Do I really want ugly shoes that I will only wear for a week?

DH: If you're not going to wear them again don't waste the money.
Me: But I don't want blisters to ruin my trip again.
DH: then buy one pair of crocs.
Me: Yeah, but if I get the crocs, well I'm gonna want the jibbitz too.
DH: you sound like that book, if you give a moose a muffin...He's gonna want jelly on it.

After all of that I still don't know. I did find some comfy flip flops that I have been wearing with no blisters yet, I tend to get along pretty well with birkenstocks and I do have a pair of skechers that I wear well, but I keep thinking about endless comfort of the crocs. I will give myself until the end of July to decide once and for all.

I had to go to Dunhams yesterday to get my son some sliding shorts. There were crocs everywhere. I looked. I did. There were all these colors, shapes, sizes . I was scared.

So.......

I ran away.

Had to get out fast. (not to mention that I had to pee really bad)

Went to pay for my stuff.

There were all these Jibitz at the register. I swear there is a jibitz for every occasion. Even Hannakuh!!

Seriously. I think I am going to go for it. I will try them out this summer. I'll let you know when I get them!!

I am leaning towards the crocs, I really am!!! But yes, please do give me a daily account of how great the crocs are for WDW, you could even do a whole seperate trip report just on the crocs, kind of like how people do a seperate dining report. It's a great idea, I would read it

ILMICKEY What are you afraid of? That you might actually like them? Cause that is a huge concern of mine. I have tried them on at the store, gosh they are so comfy, if I bought a pair, that may be the end of any fashion sense I have left. But it could be the end of Blisters too.

Hang in there, we will work through this fear you have together. Take deep breaths and go to your happy place, think Disney, think castle, think wishes!
