Dec 2005 Rates

Ok I know I am way early, but having to cancel this 04 Dec cruise because of a pregnancy I am looking to book the following December....

when will those rates be out?

I'm also planning a December 2005 Cruise, Western Caribbean on the Magic. Hope they open dates soon, with a Caribbean itinerary! I don't really care where in the Caribbean I go, just that I'll get to go there!

got a little excited when i saw bookings opening up till January 2006 on the disney website. tried to book July 2005 7 nite western cruise but was told not an available date.. So i called DCL and was advised once again, the SPRING.. the only thing that is opened until January 2006 for bookings is the land and sea packages.. HURRY UP DISNEY I NEED TO BOOK A CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I AM IN CRUISE WITHDRAWAL...........

Maybe you should plan on Mexico (West Coast) for 2005 on the Magic. Why would they only open up dates/rates on the Wonder?

I have read many rumors concerning the possible changes in the itinerary. I know DCL is testing a couple new ports on the Eastern itineraries this summer. Maybe the reason is as simple changing to these new ports? It seems that it would be very expensive for DCL to change to the west coast just considering the $ put into the building where they embark/disembark and Castaway Cay. I guess no one will know for sure until they announce.

You can always book 7 days in December 2005 by booking a back to back Wonder cruise!!

I highly doubt we will see the West Coast in 2005 - like a previous poster said, it would be expensive. At the time being, Disney has the Port Canaveral Terminal & Castaway Cay, and until they get a third ship, it wouldn't pay for them to operate out of another location. My vote is to keep everything as it is for now, with the Magic & Wonder in Port Canaveral. Then, when the Disney "Dream" is launched, reposition the Magic to the West Coast for the Winter, and to Europe for the Summer.
