Dec. 2, 2010 3 day Wonder

I received my FE gifts in the mail yesterday. :yay: I like them; I hope you guys will!

This weekend I need to make a packing list. I have to be super organized because this trip has become a patchwork mess. We booked our original trip, then added the cruise at the beginning and a night before the cruise. Then we added 3 nights at the end at a different resort-only we accidently just booked two nights. :scared1: When we figured that out yesterday we booked yet another hotel for the last day (because the other was sold out.) Geesh. 5 different places counting the ship. It will be fuin though! Here's our crazy itinerary...

1 night Animal Kingdom club level, 3 nights Wonder, 5 nights Sheraton Vistana (free timeshare exchange and the reason we originally booked this trip), 2 nights Boardwalk Villas, 1 night at the Nick Hotel in a 2 bedroom kids' suite.

While we're there besides the cruise the fun stuff we plan to do is:
Sunrise Safari at AK
ICE
MVMCP
Hoop de Doo Revue
Breakfast with the Grinch at IOA
Nick character breakfast
Let it Snow at Nick Hotel (swim in 84 degree pool with snow and hot chocolate)

It's our first time at Christmas and we want to do it all!

Anyone else want to share your plans?

Sure!

We are flying in Wednesday and staying at OKW. Plan on doing dinner Downtown Disney Wednesday night. Then cruise. Sunday staying at BCV and doing Hollywood Studios. Monday lunch at the Grand Floridian (so we could see all the xmas decorations there) and flying back Monday night.

I'm so jealous of your schedule. You will have a great time!

I guess we can now officially say (since today is Sunday) that the cruise is NEXT WEEK! Yahoo!

It's 60 degrees here in Chicago today, but raining like crazy - boy to I need the beach!

We're arriving Tuesday the 30th and staying at All Star Music. We'll just explore the hotels Christmas decor that afternoon & evening - dinner at Raglan Road in Downtown Disney that night.

Wednesday we're going to Magic Kingdom.

Thursday am we're doing breakfast at the Wilderness Lodge and then driving to the port.

After the cruise we're staying 1 night at the Courtyard Marriott, then back to Chicago Monday afternoon!

What time are staterooms ready? I have not cruised for 5 years and cannot remember the time. I also did a search on these boards and could not find the answer so I am hoping one of you may know.
Thanks!!

1:30 PM ( unless something really unusual occurs like the ship being late to the dock).

Till then, I will be forced to enjoy the drink of the day by the pool. What's your plan?

Thanks for the info.
not sure yet what I will be doing, I know I know, I should be planning. But honestly I am so happy to get away. Its been 2 years since I 've gone anywhere! I also have a young daughter that is joined to my hip. So you may see my DH, he will be the one with the large DCL cruise glass permanently attached to his hand.
He will also have a friend with the same accessory.:)
I will probably be settling in, hopefully I will be seen later with a little drink and a cute umbrella!!!

:cool1:5 DAYS!:cool1:

Who has packed? When are you leaving?

I plan to pack tomorrow as much as possible. We leave on Wednesday! :woohoo:

60 degrees sounds good today, right? I don't know what the temp is but it's been cold now! We're from Geneva. Your plans sound good! I noticed you're expecting too. How are you feeling? My "morning" sickness and fatigue has only been better for a couple weeks now. Perfect timing for me.

I am on secret packing duty tonight while my kids are with their grandparents.

My DH hurt his back yesterday! Cross your fingers for a miracle at the dr in 10 minutes.

Oh! We were married in Geneva (At Riverside Receptions) - we used to live in South Elgin.

I'm feeling ok - had a real scare a couple weeks ago - bleeding and cramping, but all is well now. I've had 3 ultrasounds so far and they all look great! I'm just bummed that I'm on progesterone supplements, so I'll have to time my swimming to allow it to absorb before I get in the water. But I'll do whatever I need to!

So looks like I'll have a buddy to drink non-alcoholic drinks with :thumbsup2 Glad you're feeling better these days! I'm hoping for calm waters!

We started packing today. I feel like my 3 year old has as many clothes as I do! Of course, we're bringing one of her princess dresses for dinner at Triton's. I wanted to bring both Cinderella and Snow White, but they're too bulky. So Bella decided on Snow White - it's "vintage", from the 90's.

Oh, no! The fastest way to a better back is a good chiropractor. Good luck!

Somehow I never thought of that! I think we have a Cinderella dress that will fit DD. (Passed onto us by her cousin.) I will start and hopefully mostly finish my packing tomorrow!

Busy weekend here! Hosted Thanksgiving for 12. Black Friday shopping, cleaning, and Christmas decorating inside and out on Friday. Hosted b-day party for DS6 for 20 today. Now packing tomorrow. I work two very long days Monday and Tuesday and then we're off to the airport at something like 4:45am on Wednesday. but :yay: too!

Anyone checked the weather for Orlando? Of course once we sail it will hopefully be warmer. I haven't checked that. I mostly thinking about my packing for before and after and assuming it will be shorts weather on the cruise. I copied and pasted. The % at the end is the chance of rain.
