I just stumbled upon a deal that really helps us out, so I thought I'd share...
Sam's Club has $100 Disney gift cards with a free $10 Disney Store (incl. online) for $98.8X.

We estimated our expenses for WDW and DCL tips and such and bought 25 $100 GCs. That saved us $30 or so and we get $250 free from the Disney Store. Combine that with Cyber Monday deals tomorrow (rumor is 25% discount and free shipping) and much of our Christmas shopping is taken care of!

Hi Neighbors We are in Elk Grove Village!

We went up to Wisconsin to vist family for the holiday. Back now and ready to go! We are all packed (easy packing without all the kids stuff) and leave Wednesday afternoon. Anyone leaving Wednesday out of Midway?

We are! We leave at 8:05am--what was I thinking?! Our limo picks us up at 4:45am! When I book the flights I'm always thinking about wanting to get there ASAP, not about staying up late packing, getting no sleep, and dragging the kids out of bed while it's dark out!

Apparently when we booked the cruise, we requested the SECOND DINNER SEATING. OMG ... Needless to say, we are now on the waiting list for the FIRST SEATING. Any recommendations????

We leave tomorrow at 1:25. Given, the weather I expect delays for most of the east coast, so I"m glad we are leaving a day early. We are spending the night at the Boardwalk Villas. Hopefully we will get down in time to walk across to the Beach Club and see the carousel.

We leave tomorrow morning at 7:25 a.m. We will be spending the night at Bonnet Creek and we will be traveling to Port Canaveral on Thursday morning. Boy ... this really came quick.

When we arrived I went in to where they take the reservations, and there was an awful woman there complaining and saying" I want to talk to someone that speaks english" She was dreadful. Anyway, after she was done, I walked up and nicely asked the man to switch us to an earlier sitting. He told me it was a large party and he would do his best. I said thats all I can ask for and gave him a big smile, as I felt bad for him after the witch before me.
We got a message that night that we had been switched, and were thrilled!!
So seeing how its Disney, hopefully you will get some pixie dust too!!
I also guess the moral of the story is to be nice!!!
I hope I also get some pixie dust, as I have been battling a migraine since friday! I took today off from work and spent it in bed. Someone is always sick on our trips, and I guess I am the lucky one this time!

We were actually very, very lucky. I called today and we were already changed to the earlier seating!!!! YEA!!!!!!!

I'm not sure what I will be wearing, but we leave tomorrow from Nova Scotia at 4:30pm....and I have a LOT to do between now and then!

so sad to be off the ship already!

First, thanks to all who participated in the FE! what fun it was for my first time!!! We loved everything we received , and some were real life savers to keep Bella busy! DH was complaining about it before we left (because I was stressing about what to get!), but once he saw those pockets getting filled, he got all excited and kept asking when we would deliver ours!

Also, thanks for answering questions before the cruise, it was a big help!

Bella just loved the oceanears club. i only wished I had put her in there durring dinner every night, instead of just the last night. I was so happy they let her in with a pull-up!

DH was really nervous about going on his first cruise - i've been begging him for 6 years to go - now that he's gone, he's the newest Disney cruise evangelist! We're going to start saving for the meditteranean Disney cruise next!

thanks again everyone! we had a great time! My only regret was that I didn't get a chance to meet any of you in person!

here's hoping the flights back to chicago are open tomorrow for our stand-by travel!
