Yes, its getting very close We have a total of 27 Adults and 9 children. I have gotten some pm of people deciding not to do it this time so the last FE update is correct. We have a cut off date of November 11. As for room changes if anyone switches rooms after they board the cruise please stop by my stateroom and leave a note to let me know. Please try to do so by 5:00. I will then leave a note for everyone in their FE and let them know of the room changes. If you are to switch before the cruise please just post for all of us. Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Just got good news for our pre-cruise stay. We were on a waitlist for Animal Kingdom Lodge concierge level and it came through! It's especially cool because the Sunrise Safari (30-45 minute private tour before the park opens and breakfast) is only open to concierge guests and we really wanted to do this! They only offer it twice a week to 28 guests maximum and we were able to book it the morning of the cruise! This is also my son's birthday so it's going to be a great day!

Yesterday I booked 2 nights prior to the cruise at All Star Music - with my airline rate I got a great deal of under $50/night. Couldn't pass it up.

We're thinking of staying 1 night after the cruise in the Cocoa Beach area - any recommendations?

We're trying really hard to get Bella potty trained soon. It's been hit or miss all week - I'm worried if we don't we won't be able to take advantage of the drop-off (I really don't want to pay for babysitting).

We are also surprising our kids - we booked in late September and have kept quiet this long, but it's getting harder while I am trying to do FE Gifts and other surprises without them seeing me....not to mention managing to not slip up!

Have you decided how you will surprise them? We are still working on that part.

We are going to get in to the Port late the night before. We have been to Orlando a few times, so we will probably just let them guess but not tell them if they are right or wrong or let them think we are just going to hit the beach.

In the morning, I want to hand them matching Cruise shirts and see if they catch on.

We booked the Dream almost a year ago, so that is the next Disney cruise they think they are going on.

We are using this as a way to celebrate 3 birthdays and Christmas. So, it will be a fun trip for us.


How are you going to surprise your kids?

Well - if they catch me working on these FE gifts that could blow it all to pieces. But...our plan is to pick them up at school on Wednesday and arrive later that evening and stay at an airport hotel. They will assume we are going to Disney World when we get to the airport and they realize there are suitcases with us. We will let them think that is the surprise at first. When we get up in the morning, we are going to give them each a Christmas gift (wrapped in Santa Mickey paper of course). Inside will be matching cruise T-shirts - and then it will click.

They should be more than adequately wound up for the ride in the limo to the Port.

I'm trying to figure out if I can get my kids to try on new crocs to see if they fit without leaking the secret. Crocs are a VERY unusual purchase for November in Nova Scotia.

My FE gifts were going great...until I ran into a technical difficulty. Now I've got to start from scratch on 2, and try to figure out a better way for this step for all of them. All after my kids go to bed at 9pm.
