Dec 1st, 2011 Dreamy Cruise

Now it really is a reality!!!! SO EXCITED!!!! Check in and reservations complete! My birthday must be our lucky day because we were able to book everything we wanted to do, plus I was able to book what I wanted to surprise my DH with too! :cool1:

Hope everyone else had the same luck!!!!!! pixiedust:

It'll be here before we know it. Can't wait til I can get back to working on my FE stuff. I have 3 more weeks in this doggone cast before I can. (it's why I have been quiet lately)

DH, myself, DD, DSiL, DGD and DS. Getting very excited.

We have 2 cabins booked on deck 7 and 1 on deck 9. I have been trying to get our cabin moved to deck 7 close to the other 2 cabins. The cabin I want was not available when I first booked the cruise. Have been watching and hoping it would open up :surfweb: ever since I booked.

Is anyone from the cruise meet (I know chances are slim) booked in cabin 7690? I would soooooooooo like to be able to get that cabin so we can be next to my kids. Wonder if Disney would let someone trade? It is a 6B and I have a 6A booked on deck 9. There are 6B and
6A GTY for booking now. Wish Disney would "pixie dust" :wizard: someone out of 7690 and put me in it.

I know I should be happy that I am on the cruise and be happy with the cabin I have, but this is the first cruise for my DGD and I wanted to as close as possible.

:goodvibes WELCOME!!!! Wish we could help out with your room situation. Right now (GTY reservation) Disney has us in room 7000. Not the same room class as your booking.

FE now closed. Sorry if there are more lurkers out there. I'll post the complete list shortly, and you can notify me as you learn your cabin numbers.

Have a safe holiday!

Joanie,

Our reservation has us listed now in Room 7000. Not sure if they will move it or not since it was a GTY reservation and I have recently read of people's rooms changing. Thanks for getting the list together!!!!

I got Cabana #17 on Family Beach! I tried Friday night when I first was able to check in, and all of them were booked up. I have tried intermittently since, and this morning, #17 was available, so I grabbed it!

Now I just pray the weather that day is nice enough that we all want to get off the boat and spend time at that very expensive little shed. LOL!

CONGRATS!!!! I will be hoping it is a great day too!!!! And remember one person's shed is another person's castle. LOL I am sure you and your family will enjoy!!!! :lmao:

Oh well ... I just canceled my Cabana #17 reservation. I started googling its location and found that it was the farthest away from the restrooms and Cookies Too -- which I suspect will be a problem for the 3 senior citizens and 1 toddler with which I'm traveling.

I'll keep checking and hoping that a closer one opens up sometime before the cruise.

As usual, please check for errors, and be sure to let me know as you receive your cabin assignments. If you haven't indicated yes or no to the allergy question, please do so. That can be very important. Thanks:worship: Also, may we have 1st name of each person in your group if you didn't include it in the post when you signed up?

Is the previous post the entire FE list? Several names were left off (including mine)...

I compiled the list into an Excel spreadsheet as we went. Do you want me to send that to you?

Oh, never mind on the "left off." I see the list was extended.

:)

I can still send you the Excel, if you want.

Thank you for complining everything and putting up the update!!!! You ROCK!!! Hope your vaca was good!!!

Can I make an additional request to confirming everyone's info? Please? You won't be disappointed. ;) Need names of all joining us on the FE list. (Most are there, but a couple missing.) THANK YOU in adavance!!!! :goodvibes

This will be mine and my husband's first cruise. I am interested in any tips or things that may be helpful when planning the trip. I am so excited!:tinker: I have been to Disney World more times than I can count, so if anyone has questions about the parks I would be happy to answer!

A space was left becaused I entered the bit of celebration for your Birthday, but I will remove that so as not to confuse readers. Do you know who else I missed? Will you let me know? I haven't heard from other members yet, but I'm sure they will contact me. I want to be sure it is correct-don't want any members to miss out due to an error on my part.

Surely, send the spreadsheet. Thanks!

The trip to The World was great, but what's not to love? Nice dining, good friends, new friends and animals outside my window.

The part at HHI was super as was the weather, but had to extend our stay. Our friend hurt his back getting out of bed, and we had to have the ambulance come to the resort during the night to take him to the ER. Ambulance EMT's, hospital and doctor were all wonderful.

Oh Boy! Now you have me wondering about the FE gifts.:yay:

Welcome to the group. I believe we have new and seasoned cruisers posting here so feel free to ask questions.
Check this thread for a wealth of information.

We've been to Disney World several times, but I may pick your brain for some tips. Have you done the Holiday Delights Tour? If so, did you enjoy it?

Hmm ... I can't quite figure out how to send an attachment through this board. LOL.

Can you private-message me with your email address?

Thanks!

Hello again. I've added information for beachcat to the list on page 10, post #149. I'll have to start thinking about gifts and perhaps a new FE "bag". I tend to put those things off until closer to the cruise since that is part of the last minute fun for me.

Hi Everyone!

We just booked this cruise on 9/28, and are really excited- we're doing a back-to-back for the first time and booked the first part of it almost 2 years ago.

Having just returned from the WBTA a week ago, DH decided that the 4-night cruise wasn't QUITE long enough (and we're taking the week off anyway). So here we are!

Have fun with the FE- of course we're too late to join this one, but have signed up for the first one on the earlier cruise!

I have a suggestion for those who'd like to meet up onboard on embarkation day (we did this on the WBTA); the District Lounge is most like the Promenade Lounge on the Magic- and we had a great DIS meet there at 3 (before the sail-away).

No pressure- just a thought.

Happy sailing!
