Dec 19-26 ADR experience- not bad

Just finished making ADR's for Dec 19-26. I was able to get everything that I wanted with the exception of BOG and that is because I refuse to eat dinner when it is bed time. So I booked a lunch instead.

What I did notice is the site got a little wonky at 6:12am- EXACTLY the same time it got wonky on Friday (I was making reservations for my parents- they are coming earlier and leaving earlier than us). I know two data points do not make for a strong conclusion but I thought it was interesting.

I also appreciated learning the "bang the find tables button" if you get the dreaded "We're sorry we are having trouble searching..." message. I would have given up in the past but today I just calmly kept hitting it until times came back.

I'm excited to go back to some old favorites (Garden Grill, 50's Prime Time) and try two new restaurants (Narcoosee's and the Boathouse).

I found it pretty painless too! Got all the restaurants and times we wanted. Still have CP package to book when it comes up but I'm happy with everything so far!

We got everything we wanted for the first 11 days of our trip (arriving Dec 18th) also except for Mama Melrose (with or without the Fantasmic Package)...and I booked day #12 this morning at about 6:45 CST with no problems...I am so excited!!!

I'm glad you guys had such good luck. No such luck for me. I was able to book only 3 of our 7 ADRs (HBD, Tutto Italia, and WCC). Didn't get BOG, Ohana, Captain's Grille, and Liberty Tree Tavern. She told me that Captain's Grille might not have been released yet. Also I heard on here that LTT won't be released until later due to renovations, but she told me that they were accepting reservations there, so they must be full already. Not sure about that though.

It also went smoothly for me this morning! I was quickly finished in 13 minutes and found BOG lunch, CP lunch, 1900 PF breakfast, and 'Ohana dinner for us all at good times and days! I would have liked BOG earlier in the trip but felt fortunate to get it for Dec 23. We arrive on Dec 19. There were lots of times available for BOG lunch Dec 22-28 for 10 of us. I was surprised as I thought it would be harder to get. I felt very lucky not to have any issues!

Can't complain I guess, fantasmic package at a not ideal time and bog lunch on not ideal day - but better than I expected on a free dining week.
