Dec 19 - 24 at the World

Got to All Star Music around 11:30 am. Checked in and had a great CM. We were early and our room wasn't ready. I requested a ground floor room. Got building 7 room 7413. Near the Piano Pool. Nice place, way in back though.

We sat by the pool and the girls swam for a while. We purchased 4 day hopper passes so we decided to go to Downtown first. We were going to MVMCP that night so decided not to waste a day on the pass. We picked up matching santa mickey and goofy hats for our picture that night. The grils played at legoland for a while.

Went back to the hotel about 4pm and got ready for the party. We entered Magic Kingdom about 4:45 and went straight for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. I got my all time high score this trip 175.800! I was impressed.

Makenzie, my dd friend (9yo) had never been to Disney before so we had so much to do. Went on TTA, she liked that. My sister and I went on Space Mountain, something I have never done before. I thought that was great!

I didn't find the lines too long. Not too many people there in my opinion. Didn't use fastpass that night. Didn't need to. Watched the later parade, 10:40 I think it was and enjoyed leisurely strolling out of the park.

Oh yea! We had ressies at LTT and boy is the food good! I love how Minnie was dressed! I will have pictures on my homepage in a few days.

We went to AK on friday morning and took advantage of early entry. We walked on all rides this day. Got to see the Male lion walking around while on the safari ride. It was awesome. We saw lots of animals, right near the car as we drove by.

I videotaped us on Primevel Whirl. Funny!

Went to Epcot to see the tree lighting. That was nice. We ate a Beaver tail. It was ok but I don't think I would buy another one. I like my fried dough thicker. Tried to go on Ellen's universe of energy but it wasn't working. Went in to see Body Wars and cranium command. I sat them out because I wasn't feeling good so I ate soup.

The girls were having a great time so far.

Went to MGM and took the girls on TOT and RR and did they love it! Makenzie's face on tot was just so funny! I should have that up on my site also.

The longest wait was rr. 40 minutes.

Saw Indy Jones for the first time. Nice show.

Actually, on Monday, our last day there we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning, MGM in the afternoon, went back to hotel to swim for a while and finished at Magic Kingdom in the evening. What a marathon day. We wanted to do everything one last time before going home.

We did 2 parks most days with a break at the hotel in the middle.

Thanks for the report! Did you find the resort noisy at all? I keep reading about noise from cheerleader groups/kids, etc.

I did not find it noisy at all. There was even a wrestling meet or something going on because there must have been a whole floor (across the way from us) of young teenage boys. Some cheerleaders also. The only thing that bothered me one night was our neighbor was giving their kid(s) a bath at 11:30 pm and I could hear them splashing and stuff. I was so tired that I fell asleep before it got on my nerves.

I have stayed at the Movies twice before and I really enjoy the All Stars. It's worth saving the money on the rooms.
