We generally try to go a little earlier in Dec than this but I am trying to plan a vacation that requires no missed school days. For those who have went the week immediately before Christmas....is it crowded beyond belief? I believe we tooka trip with similiar dates a few years ago and it didn't get unmanageable until the last friday night. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Just got back from a visit, and we were in the parks from 12-17 to 12-22. We went early and used Fast Pass a lot. I think the worst days as far as crowds go, were the day we left and beyond. The MK was most crowded, but I think the lines were less than an jour for even the major attractions. The worst was a 200 minute wait to ride Soarin' in EPCOT.

We were just their the 17th-24th. We were at the park at opening, and usually left by 2 or so. We FP'd the major stuff. The most I think we waited was maybe 15 mins. for a ride. We used TGM, no debate please, being that it was right before Christmas and followed his touring/best day plan. The only day I found it unbearable was the 24th. We went to MK around 11AM, just to seek out some last minute character autographs. The crowds were HEAVY and we were out by 1:30. If you have a good tour plan and utilized FP, I think your days will be perfect.

We were there the 17th-26th and the crowds were not bad until Christmas Eve. The other days we used fastpass for the really popular rides and either walked-on or only had a 5-15 minute wait for everything else. We did not go to the park on Christmas day, however, we did have an ADR for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, so we did see the large crowd trying to get in to the MK that day. I'm sure it was pretty packed inside. As far as the 17th-23rd, I've seen bigger crowds in June.
