Dec. 15, 2011 - 3 Night Roll Call.....

I came home to Mickey Mail today. In five weeks I'll have had a fabulous dinner at Palo. Mmmmmmmmm

We are doing MVMCP on the 14th. We are staying at the VWL on DVC points that night before the cruise. We normally stay at CIS pre-cruise night. We figured we have some extra DVC points and the whole plan evolved to include the MVMCP too. Very excited. After the numerous WDW trips we have had, we have never done the MVMCP before. So we are pretty excited. We are going to be pushing our arrival time though. DS8 cannot leave school before 11am on the 14th, and we are driving from SC, so we will be there 530-6ish. Trying to decide if we should check in first or go straight to MK.

Have you done MVMCP party before Wilde Bunch? Anyone else ont his thread done it before?

BTW, got Mickey Mail yesterday....Won't be long now!

I still have not gotten my docs yet. Hopefully they will come soon On a happier note we are going to MVMCP tomorrow night. I can't wait! We've gone the past couple of years and love it. I totally agree that you should checkin to the hotel first. We are always tired at the end of the night but its a good tired. Have a great Veterans Day everyone! Ok guys I need your help! I always tend to over or under pack and I'm determined not to do so this time. Myself and my two girls will each have tow carryons a piece. It will be cold where we leave from so we will all have on a velour style joggin suits which I figured we could just remove once we hit Florida if its warm. The boots we will have on will also be worn with our pirate costumes and we will wear that same outfit post cruise to MVMCP as my understanding it can be quite cool some nights. I was thinking we would wear those same outfits on the return flight home but that may be pushing it lol. I will pack a dress and shoes for Palo's and the girls will have a Disney princess dress or two. Swim suits, cover ups, and flip flops in my carry on the boat bag. So I guess my question is how many other outfits will I need besides pirate stuff, dinner outfits, and swim suits.

We have been to 5 MVMCP ! We love it ....If you are not tired, go to the party and enjoy yourself. Have something to eat, if you haven't on your drive. Remember to drive safe !!!!

Thanks for your thoughts. We are on the mend !!!! We are partying on December 13 and then cruise the Disney Dream on Dec 15-18th and then fly over to Miami for Carnival Glory , two cruises back to back , Eastern and Western for 15 gloriuos days !!!! . 30 days until we leave ....

What you have sounds good. It is kind of cold in Fl right now. My only suggestion would be to make sure you bring long pants and a light jacket. You just never know what the Florida weather will be like. One day it can be in the high 80's and the next day in the 30's. Happy packing

Last cruise we did in December to Bahamas was soo cold. We were in Disney first and it was nice until the day we left for our cruise. (Dec. 20) . A cold front moved in and it was cold until we left back to Canada . Infact it was warmer in New Brunswick Canada then it was in Orlando , Florida . Then we came back in March and it was still cold. It was a bad winter for Orlando 2008-2009 (I think)!!!

I am hoping this cruise is nicer and we all get some good luck. If not I have two more cruises to the Carribean to follow. So surely it will be nice there !!!!

Here in New Brunswick we are having a warmer Novemeber then usual . High in the 60's almost hitting 70's . Something is gonna give and reality is gonna bite !!!

I would want to check in prior to the party, because if you stay for the whole thing that is going to be a very long day and you may want to just go back to VWL and straight to your room and fall into bed, not go to the desk and check in and find out where your room is and worry about schlepping any luggage at that late hour.

I'm not going this year because it isn't in the budget and I've gone the past two years. Its a lovely time, and if the funds were there, I'd go again.

Came at a great time. After sitting at a cheer competition all day yesterday, I had to pack my girls to go to my sisters and then pack so that I could fly out today to come to Dallas for work.
