We're visiting WDW for the first time with our kids (5 and 7) and arrive Dec 12 for a 5 day visit. Would be really interested in insider info about what to expect in terms of crowds and the weather

Hi! We are going from Dec11 to Dec 18.
When I looked at the long term forcast on Accuweather..

Saturday 12/11.. Some sun, windy and cooler. High 67. Low at night 57.
Sunday 12/12.. Sunny to partly cloudy. High 69. Low 46
Monday 12/13.. Sun and some clouds. High 72. Low 50
Tuesday 12/14... Good deal of sun. High 65. Low 51
Wednesday 12/15.. Partial sunshine. High 66. Low 46
Thursday 12/16.. Sun and Clouds. High 65. Low 46
Friday 12/17.. Mostly Sunny. High 66. Low 45

I'm not sure about crowds. I'm hoping it won't be too bad. I hope both of our families have a great time.
