You know, I was SO ready to pack but we got thrown a curve ball this week--normally we have similar Orlando temps (hot, hot, humid, hot) but then it got SO COLD here---I'm just going to wait til the last minute... I do have a Disney Tiki bag (piece of junk really, I love Dis stuff but this one is a total reject) that I put tshirts and the like in for the cruise. Pirate stuff when it comes around...

So, has anyone got their cruise docs yet???? None here, but I did download today all the docs from the dcl site. Here's a link if y'all would like to do the same and are anxious to fill 'em out:

Hello Everyone!
Well, I decided to start my pre packing, meaning making sure I have all the paperwork-except no docs yet-together, passports, copies of passports, custody papers, etc. getting all my ressie confirmation numbers in my planner. The weather here in Virginia is turning colder, so I am going to get all the warm weather clothes together. I had all this time to plan and now in the next couple weeks, I am going to be running around making sure everything is covered, even my dog, Nikita's shots are taken care of the same day as I take my Mom to get her flu and pneumonia shots, all the little things. I know this is silly, but the last couple days especially the night before my stomach is in knots, then the morning I am ready to get the party started, but not until I am at the airport.
I bought DD's and my pirate outfits for the trip, I cannot wait!!!!!! Except DD and I were going to do CC Ray's Stingray, but with the damage to net and the stingrays no where to be found, I may end up going into Nassau and doing Blackbeard's stingray adventure.

I am starting pre-packing too. Starting to go over all of my stuff again finalize all of my plans for the pre cruise Disney trip and the cruise stuff. We were initially signed up to do the dollphin encounter through Disney so now I am waiting to hear from the company if we can do it directly through them. This is the one thing that DD is so looking forward to. MD. aw:

My DH and my DD (age 4) will be on board. This is our first Disney Cruise, though my DH and I have been cruising before. My DD and I plan to do the Dolphin Encounter while my DH is scuba diving.

We are doing the land portion as well, and we will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside

It's our first cruise ever--we're very excited and frankly CANNOT wait for hurricane season to be over. We're doing the land part at the Poly, but starting Sat night at All Star Movies (first time at these places as well).
W're getting a pre-voyage get-together arranged here on this thread a couple of hours I think before the WOnder sails.

I have begun putting my papers in order for airline ticketless confirmation and Sea World tickets with a couple things we will be doing there, after I bought a new printer because my old one was picky on what it wanted to print LOL
Anyway, just waiting for documents to come in. I ended up having to buy new luggage because my other luggage was in the shed and I forgot to cover it up and the luggage smells like gas, so I am not even trying to have TSA not let me onboard, but the new luggage which arrived today smells worse than the gas ones-eEWWWWWWWW!

Hello all~

Guess what I had waiting on our front steps today when we came home from work.........Have you guessed???? That's right our cruise documents!!!!

We've made a couple of changes to our plans.. we were going to book a room at the Comfort Suites so that we could go to Atlantis, but we decided to book the Nassau Historic Tour instead. This way, we can see some sights, but get back on board by lunch so that we can explore the ship some more.

We are also now arriving on Thanksgiving Day. We will spend the first day at the Radisson Resort Parkway and then move to POFQ for two days before finally staying at the Beach Club.

I think these last couple of weeks are going to fly by. We are having Thanksgiving dinner this weekend with some family/friends since we will not be home, plus we have tons of things to get done prior to the trip.


I am having such a hard time with the packing...not knowing what the weather is going to be like..plus I am a compulsive planner...it is sort of driving me crazy.

I am doing the muppet show "Animal" character dance, my TA called this morning and said that my documents were in. So I drove there and went over the documents with her and she had a autograph book for my DD that she had since January and forgotten about. Well, I am off to start filling out those documents out.

Still waiting for our cruise docs here, but I'm glad to hear that they should be arriving shortly.

We just found out today that our flight coming home was cancelled so now I'm scrambling to get another one at the same low price. I must say though that I'd be more upset if it was our flight down. Worst case - we get stuck in Disney!!!!

I had an interesting conversation with my DH this weekend. Here’s it is:
DH: Did you hear about the pirates who attacked the cruise ship?
Me: Yes, but that was in Somalia. We’re going to the Caribbean. There are no Pirates in the Caribbean!

After much laughter I notice my DH has started getting that dreamy look in his eyes. After 21 years together, I know what that means… he’s thinking about getting attacked by Keira Knightley!

Hello all,

Talked to my TA today and our documents are in. I'll be meeting her later in the week to pick them up. Found out last week that one of my DD's little friends from her daycare class is going to be in Orlando the same time as us, and at the same hotel POR.

We fly in on Turkey day (one less holiday with the in-laws) then will be staying in the St Petersburg area for a couple of days before moving to POR

Let me know detail of any pre-cruise gathering.

I cannot wait for this vacation. It is not going to be as "spendy" as originally thought since we just had $400 for DS emergency dental work and $800 for new brakes and rotors (Murphy's Law at it's best), but we will have fun and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Hey, I know some of you are attending Mouse Fest @ WDW prior to the cruise; we are going to be coming direct to the ship from MCO.

How about meeting up at Cove Cafe (Deck 9 midship) right after the lifeboat drill (around 4:30) ?

Look for a lady wearing a neck brace, that would be my SIL (their first cruise)

We are leaving on the 23rd to head down to FL. Do you want to schedule a time/place to meet? I would love to know before I leave.

Also, does anyone have directions from the port back to WDW area. We are staying an additional day when we return from the cruise.
