I know, aren't those jammies the best? I about died when I saw them, I was heading towards a pair of white minnie and mickey jammies when the green jumped out at me and bit my eyes.

We need to get a Muppet show petition going. I miss that show so much, when I was a kid that was one of the shows I could not miss, that and B.J and the Bear and the Dukes of Hazzard, those were my shows. Chips was in there too but I could miss an episode and still live.

Those Mickey PJs are adorable - flannel & winter themed. What more can you ask for? I need to get to my Wal-Mart and check it out. I would like those for my trip. Though, I am not crazy about my local-ish WalMart. The other one is closed on Sundays because of the Blue Laws. Really? yes, really annoying!

I hope your PT goes really well. I'm sorry you can't go back to work yet. I give you credit, since I would be going off my rocker. I would need to make lists upon lists to keep myself busy. I have list-ism, a disorder for making way too many lists in the vain hope I'll actually get something accomplished.

It's absolutely-freakin-incredible!! I finally got my real estate tax bill YESTERDAY (yes, they are very extremely late) due to Nov 1 and no grace period. Umpft.
And I pay taxes to 2 different cities since my property is on the city line. That's NJ!

Blue laws still exist? I remember Texas always had Blue Sunday when I was in elementary school, then when I moved back in high school they didn't have them anymore. I thought every place did away with them.

PT is going great, I am now in the big workout room and they keep adding to my workout, I actually have sore muscles today from yesterday PT.

Reese is doing well, still a little raspy sounding but getting better every day.

Are you friggin kidding me? now 2 of my MK days are going to be taping days. SHAT!!!! I am not looking forward to that at all. So if they are giving away free tickets to this then does that mean the park is going to be filled to capacity? I might have to rethink the 3rd. as my first park day. But that is when I am meeting JoJo and Billie. Argh!!!!

Those people at work will have to get over themselves. You know yourself that you'd have rather been at work and not dealing with the pain and doctor's visits for all these months. They just think you're having a high old time at home, when you know better. You deserve this vacation and those people who are jealous about it will just have to get over themselves.

Yup that's the day I am talking about. I flet so bad and probably would have done the same thing you did. it might seem like you are rewarding your child for bad behaviour but sometimes it's the only way to keep a bad situation from getting worse.

I know at work I will have my close friends that will have my back, they are the ones who have listened to me talk about my Disney plans since last February, so they will understand that I had plans before my fall and I didn't just sit home collecting money for a Dis trip.

Well Epcot might not be out of the question, I am rethingking my MK day on the 3rd as it is now going to be a taping day too. All my plans are up in the air, I don't know what I am doing now. I will probably go check out MK and if it's really busy then I will probably leave and go to a different park then head to WCC from there.

I postponed my meet with Laura, her DD was sick and I didn't want to expose myself to it. I managed to not get sick when Reese had it and I didn't want to tempt fate.

So I was just whining about the parade tapings, but now I'm moving my rant to my own PTR instead of highjacking yours.

Well incase some of you didn't read MyMuse's post on here, MK is now having 3 taping days, the 3rd 4th and 5th, and it is being open to the public first come first serve. So what I get fom this is the place is going to be packed!!!!! I am trying to figure out a new schedule for myself and fellow travelors. I'm thinking that maybe I will try AK on the 3rd, and do Epcot on the 4th (leaving about 5 to make my 6:00pm Planet Hollywood ADR at DTD) then maybe going to MK on the 5th but leaving after my 11:00am ADR at CP and possibley going back to AK, and maybe switching a DHS day, I don't know now, I am so confused, I don't know whether I should scratch my watch or wind my butt. I'm just worried that if they are giving away tickets for free that MK will fill up to capacity and I will either 1. not even be able to get into the park onthe 3rd or 2. it will be so crowded we can't move but an inch at a time. Maybe I should play it by ear. I could always try and get in some MK time when they have EMH. My planner is in my car and I'm too lazt to go get it so I'm flying blind here. This rots my socks, just when I think all is set and I'm OK with the 5th being a taping day Disney has to go and throw a wrench in my plans.

I just got my rant on over on your PTR. I have ideas about how to handle this, I just can't think clearly right now. I'm looking at some major park hopping in order to get in all my park visits and ADR's. I am thinking that is the only way to salvage this mess.

40 days to go and now I'm freaking out, it's no longer a wait with anticipation anymore, now it's a wait and frett situation.
To the normal person, and when I say normal I mean the ones who just go to Disney without the best laid plans, the ones who don't research, who are clueless to the ADR and think they can just show up Easter weekend and get a table at Disney's finest and even not so finest without a reservation. The ones who don't have touring plans, the ones who don't wake up at 3:00am to make ADR's or wait on hold for 30 minutes at a time with Disney dining just to change an ADR or score the coveted Le Cellier. The ones who don't have a pre trip report going because they have never even heard of the Disboards.

Yes, to those people I would be a big cry baby, they wouldn't understand why I am so upset, because they wouldn't know the time that has been put into planning what I think is a great Disney vacation, the hours that I have spent studying crowd levels and green flag days, EMH days and what not. I know about parks filling up to capacity before 10:00am and when Disney is going to give it away for free!!!!! I might not even get into what I prepaid for. I know that on the 5th I need to make rope drop in order to be guaranteed my spot in the park, but on the 3rd my plane doesn't get in until 9:10am by the time I get to my resort get checked in and catch a bus to MK will they let me in?

I'm in the depths of despair right now and only my Dis peeps can understand this. I need some ideas here guys what do I do?

Keep it the same and hope it's not as dreadful as I think?

We're having a similar conversation on my PTR, but i'll jump in here too. (And besides, you and I are probably the only two awake and DISing at this hour! )

In my case, Ron and I are only going to be there for 6 nights, and don't have any wiggle room in our plans.

Frankly, I don't have the mental stability to handle re-doing all of our park days and, even more so, fighting and struggling to get ADRs all over again just as I finally got them all perfect. I will lose my effin' mind, without a doubt. And then it's more stressful than fun, it's just not worth it, in my opinion.

I think I've decided that we're just going to leave things as is, and hope for the best. I think you should too. I'm just as frustrated about this as you are, but I think it's important for us to remember... at least we still get to go to Walt Disney World. There's so many people out there who don't even know where their family's next meal is going to come from, and here we are panicking over crowd levels at a theme park. I'm taking the love of my life to see Disney World for the first time, and you're having an amazing reunion with Marzi. We're both very blessed, and everything is going to be fine, even if all of our touring plans don't come together 100% perfectly because of this parade taping.

You are so right Billie, thanks for reminding me what this trip is really all about. And maybe some underprivilleged child is going to get to see MK now that Disney id giving away 3 days.
I have made the conscious decision to not sweat it and just play it by ear, my last day is open so I can always do MK then if we weren't able to get in all the attractions that we wanted to.

After a long nights sleep, without any Disney nightmares I woke up feeling content today. I tried to think of things that could be far worse then MK being crowded. Like not being able to go at all, or perhaps having to postpone and replan. I do have my health, I have my friends and family. It's all good. And I could very well be thinking worst case scenario, maybe it won't be as bad as I imagine. SO I will try not to give it another thought.

My Mom and Janis both right now have major stresses going on in their lives, and Marzi works 70 hours a week as a charge nurse, so all 3 of them are in need of a relaxing vacation, if I act worried or stressed over this then they will feel it, so I am going to down play it, I will keep things the way they are and just asess the the situation while I am there, if the crowds are too much to handle we will park hop.

Today I am chilaxin in my bedroom, I have christmas specials playing on the T.V. I used to record every Christmas special back when the kids were little I have over 20 tapes 8 hours each of recorded specials, right now winnie the pooh christmas is playing.

Penn St. plays Michigan today, DH is a huge Penn St. fan, I am a Michigan fan, but I can't watch the game with him because he gets so mad and we end up fighting. One year Michigan beat Penn St. and Kent quit talking to me for a few days. He also quit talking to me when Iowa beat Penn St. I have no idea why he's be mad at me for it but he was. He probably thinks I gave Penn St. some bad joo-joo. I get mad that he gets so mad. ANd he's like you'd be PO if Michigan lost to your biggest rival. Umm no I wouldn't, I might get a little bummed but seriously, am I going to get fired from my job if Mi. loses? Will we lose our house? will the kids go hungry? will it affect my health? No, so why get so bothered. I will admit way back when the Steelers played the Cowboys in the super bowl, I think it was in 96 don't quote me on that though, anyway, I cried when the Steelers lost and my sister Bo who at the time was a huge Cowboys fan called to rub it in.
When it comes to the Steelers I have all kinds of superstitions, I wear black and gold nail polish on game day, and I can't discuss the game within 24 hours of it happening except to say yes they are playing and yes I am watching. But that's it, talking about it anymore then that is a jinx.

I caved, I didn't take heed to MadilynnsMamma's warning and I went to the online Disney store, (although now I am thinkig gshe was using reverse psychology) I found 1 thing there and 2 things in the online outlet. I was just a click away from purchasing when I decided to wait, I really want to get my new crocs so I can't (I can but won't) spend any more money then I need to. But then I say I need those shirts. I will give it 2 weeks, if the shirts are still available at that time then I will take it as a sign that I am meant to own those shirts. But Phew that was a close one. JoJo you are breaking me down here. Even Kent was telling me to buy the shirts. He is supposed to be my voice of reason.

I was thinking on getting my nails done for Disney that way I won't have to bother with them the whole time I'm there, but then if I do my own nails then I will have 40 dollars more to spend at christmas. So do I want extra money or nails that I don't have to mess with. I will probably only have to do them once while I am there and that's not too bad. But I do stress over my nails.

Also since I have lost so much weight my skin on my legs is a little saggy, I hate it, so I am not going to wear shorts at all, just capris and bermudas, and that takes away the need to go tanning, I think tans hide flaws, I won't try on bathing suits unless I am tan, which brings me to my next problem, my bathing suit is way too big for me now, I had planned on some pool time, maybe not so much swimming but more relaxing on a lounge chair, I wonder if I have some bathings suits in the attic? Can bathing suits be taken in?

I am at 40 days, I really should have posted that at the top of the page, cause it is super exciting. I can't believe how close it is getting, and the time seems to be going a little faster now that I have PT 3 times a week to keep me busy, plus I take Jimmy out driving every night.

I have a linch date with my friend Jen W. this Monday, I haven't seen her since March. She has the most beautiful baby girl. I am trying to get her to take her DD to Disney, so far she is not into the idea, so once Addy is old enough to unnderstand me I will have to start working on her and she can pester mommy and Daddy. I know Jen will eventually take her, she's just not excited about the idea, she's not a Disney person. But she is fun and a good friend that is why I continue to hang out with her. I met her when she was 15 and dating my BIL they went out for 4 years and then broke up, her and I stayed friends. We used to all vacation together, her and I still do mini trips here and there. SO anyway, when I see Jen it will be 38 days till Disney, Reese has open mic on the 28th of October that takes me to 36 days. My last PT appt is November 5th, that brings me to 28 days. Reese has a show November 13th at the Ballroom, I will then be at 20 days, OMG I am so excited now, my nest Ortho Dr. appt is the 16th, and only 17 days till Disney. Kent is gone that whole week trapping in the mountains, (He finally got a bobcat lisence) he comes back on the 21st which will 12 days for me until Disney. then comes Thanksgiving and I will be exactly 7 days away from my trip. I will probably work up until the day before my trip, I will ask to not be put on the closing shift as I won't get home until 1:00am and I am leaving for the airport at 3:30am.

I usually put my tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving, I usually request that day off, well I don't think it would be a great idea to request off a weekend when I am leaving so soon after, so I have decided to put my tree up the weekend of the 15th and 16th, it's just a week earlier then usual, I can take a whole weekend to do it, maybe even start with decorating the house the week before. I am super excited. I have got the Christmas spirit like major right now. Last year I never even got the Christmas spirit. So this is great.

It's hitting me hard that I am going to be in Disney World for the Christmas decorations and I am going to be there with my Mom and my BFF and I am really looking forward to becoming good friends with Janis. We have been e-mailing back and forth for a while now, so we have started the friendship already, but it's hard to get to really know someone from e-mails.

My kids have requested that I bring back tons of chocolate from Germany, I will definitley do that, but they will have to wait tilll Christmas morning, I'm going to stuff their stockings with it.

This was a long ramble, but I am just full of good cheer today.
