I'm waiting for a 1bdrm at OKW for 12/29,12/30,1/1. I used my OKW points at the 11 month window to book 12/24-12/28 and 12/31, then had to wait for the 7month window to book the rest. We're booked off site right now, but I'm keeping the 31st even if the rest doesn't come through so at least we'll be on site for NYE.

So you just didn't have enough points to book 29,30, and 1? So at 7 months you used other resort points?

Yes, we have VWL points that we share with my FIL. We didn't have enough to book the whole week at VWL or I would've booked there day by day, then switched.

Well, I am a very, very bad waitlister. It was driving me crazy to think that we didn't have a room or were going to have to pay cash to stay somewhere. So, today I called and changed our reservation.

We are now going to stay at Vero Beach 4 nights and Saratoga Springs 4 nights. The nights we're staying at Saratoga were the nights we already had confirmed in a 2 bedroom there. Then, we were able to get 2 ocean view inn rooms at vero. I canceled December 29 in a 1 bedroom at Saratoga Springs. I hope someone here needed that room!

We are now going to stay at Vero Beach 4 nights and Saratoga Springs 4 nights. The nights we're staying at Saratoga were the nights we already had confirmed in a 2 bedroom there. Then, we were able to get 2 ocean view inn rooms at vero. I canceled December 29 in a 1 bedroom at Saratoga Springs. I hope someone here needed that room!

The day the announcement went out about the booking changes I called to make sure nothing had happened to my waitlists. We are booked at SSR 12/7-12/12 in a 2bdrm and a studio. We are waitlisted at BCV and BWV for the same room sizes and dates, however we are waitlisted day by day AND a our stay as a whole. When I spoke to the MS person he told me that current waitlists had not been affected, and that my TWO PAGES of waitlists were still intact. I felt so bad, like I am being stingy, but hey, every waitlist counts right?

When you changed your reservation to book VB, did you cancel your waitlist at SSR?
