Dec 08 Waitlist thread

My waitlist for a 2br at SSR for December 8th came thru today..now only waiting on the 7th to complete our reservation!

Unbelievable...I called MS since I am still waiting for the 7th to come thru, wanted to know if I could get it at the DVC discount (currently had rack rate), she told me the computer was still looking for a match for the 7th. Checked to see if the 7th was available on discount. It was not. I asked her a few quick questions, she ended the conversation by saying here's hoping the 7th comes thru for you. Hung up phone. Well less than 2 minutes later my phone rang and it was the same CM...she told me that as she was closing out the file..the 7th had showed up, my waitlist came thru. So not only did I get what I thought was an impossible night to get but the CM was so kind to call me and tell me. Unfortunately I did not get her name! But wow!

Here's hoping everyone else gets what they are waiting for.

Oops, you are correct. I forgot about sbittner. Its interesting that both openings are at SSR.

Maybe folks booked SSR or OKW and got their WL to fill somewhere else, so now they're releasing days? A 'Trickle Down' type of scenario, perhaps?

My DH just looked and we got our waitlisted days for Dec 7 and 8 for a 2br at SSR. I am so happy. I never thought that would come through as everyone wanted Dec 7. Congrats to all who have had success and to all who still are waiting.
I believe we are still waitlisted for boardwalk for our whole trip. I am just happy I got my SSR waitlist. Don't want to be greedy.

You can add us to the waitlist. We just decided to go Dec 10 to 17 and we were able to get a studio at SS the 12-17. We are waitlisted at OKW for Dec 10-17. We are still not sure about where we are going to stay the 10 and 11.
