My kids and I are in agreement....Big Thunder Moutain gets our vote. I think it's their favorite because it was both of theirs first roller coaster, and I think it's my favorite because I enjoyed watching them both so much their first time riding it.

The teacups come in a close second.

I was afraid this thread had fallen into never never land, as I had not recieved an email about any new posts. I have been SO busy and was unable to bump the thread. So imagine my surprise when I logged on to bumb the thread and had to read several post~way to go ladies!!!

My name is xray because that is my job. I am an xray tech and then I just tried to think of another word run together. I wish I had black hair but I don't. It is my handle for everything!!!

My favorite ride in the worlds is hard to answer. I THINK I will LOVE TofT as this is my "type" of ride. I have never been to DS before. I believe my favorite ride is Peter Pan ride (it has been several years since I have been to MK) There is something about this ride that I remember as my favorite! However I went to EP about 4 years ago and LOVED test track. How's that for a loaded answer!

I am so excited the stroller is ordered! Lets get some more swappers! Look we are a fun group come join us!!!

Have we found out how long guest service will hold the stroller? I have reas 1 week on some threads and 2 weeks on others. I am HOPING for 2 weeks in case we don't get anyone between me and TSNCS (your explaination of your name has made that SO much easier to remember)

How does the handover work? The person before me will deliver to my resort and then when my time to handoff comes, I just deliver to the resort of the person next to me?

Sorry for the questions, I have not been part of any stroller/fridge/coffeemaker swap before.

It is up to each individual to set up the details of their handoffs. PM the person ahead and behind you to make arrangements. That way everyone can do what is best for their situation. Some may just leave at guest service at their resort or the other person's resort..some will do face to face switch.
I hope that anwers one of your questions. I am sure Debra will be on soon and answer the other.

Hi everyone - we will be travelling to WDW Oct 31 - Nov 8 and I am interested in a stroller swap. We have 4 girls the youngest ones being 6 and 3 and I know their little legs will be tired. Besides the fact that it's nice to have the stroller to hold some of the bags, etc. This is all new to me so I'll need a bit of a crash course on the details of how it works. From reading other posts I understand that it is up to me to get in touch with the individual who has the stroller the dates before and after me to set up the swap. How do I pay for the stroller? What happens if for some reason the swap fails? Thanks for your help!

I just got off the phone with BOTH AKL and POFQ about holding strollers. I told them I had a friend who would be leaving a stroller for me about 11 days prior to our arrival. I was wondering if this is possible. AKL said NO! They said they will hold something for 2-3 days proir to check in but no longer. I then called POFQ (the second part of our trip) She was very friendly. Told me it was not a problem to hold that long. All we had to do was leave a tag on it with MY name, GUEST and below that my arrive date and a contact number for me. So much for the "deluxe" treatment

I found DebraW76 response to the "handoff" portion of the swap:

You will need to PM the person who has it after you and arrange a meeting time/place. If a face to face meeting is not possible due to schedules then you will need to make arrangements as to where to drop off the stroller for them to pick up. Each swap will be handled in what is best for both parties but most reasonable will be for you to deliver it to the next users resort and leave it with the bell hop with the person's name, ressie number, arrival date, etc

I am also new to this swap thing, but it has gone VERY smoothly! I am also excited to have some extra room for bags and things.If you decide to join our swap. You would PM your payment to Parith ($15) This is done with Paypal. (easy to set up if you don't already have an account)
As for "failing" I guess no matter what stroller you have there always have the chance to have it stollen. The good news is we would only be out $15 and then we make other plans. I believe this is extreemly rare. Hope you decide to join our swap family! either way HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP!
