Debit Card Question- please help!

I have a debit card but my bank charges me if I make a pin-based purchase. Do the disney stores ask for your pin if you check out with a debit card?

If they do, I'd prefer to get all my money put into travelers checks before I go-next week! Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

No they don't. It's treated just like a credit card.

I also wanted to add that on my 2nd to last day I carried my debit card/ room card at all times. I knew I was approaching our room card limit, and needed to have the debit card to pay for any other items. Sure enough at Harbor House..."sorry madame your room card doesn't work..OK here you go!!!"

Using the debit card was easy.

always tell them it's a credit card. it is backed by a credit card company and disney won't charge you anything for using it as so. you just have to sign at the bottom of the recept instead of using your pin number (i interned at disney for 7 months and did the same thing with my debit card from ohio and never got charged)
