Today was my "day off." I didn't have to be anywhere or do anything until 1:30 today, and since I have been going 16+ hours for the last 4 days, I was really looking forward to sleeping in today. Unfortunately, you know what is said about the best laid plans - they never work. At 7AM today, I get a phone call from my mom, "just to say hi." She hasn't spoken to me since Thursday when I got here, and she just wanted to check in and see how my trip was going. What was she thinking?
So, after my early wakeup call, I got up, showered, dressed, and got some breakfast in the Club Lounge. I stopped by the gift shop to get a roll of film developed, and then just relaxed in the air conditioned hotel for a while. In my waking-up-early induced anger, I completely forgot to put on sunscreen today, and that was a major mistake!
I left the Dolphin just after 12PM, and walked over to Epcot. All was well until about 3PM, and my legs started to burn. In 90+ degree weather, it doesn't take long to burn. Needless to say, I'm about as red as OK's kilts right about now, and very sore. I don't know how I'll make it through the next 2 days!
Aside from OK and ToD, my day was pretty routine. Hot days, comfortable nights, and no rain at all. What weather!
