Debating single day Memory Maker?

We are going on a mostly park free trip coming up. We are only going to the parks for 1 Halloween party. Otherwise we are doing other stuff around property and taking it easy. It's been a couple years since I've looked into photo pass locations. Are there any outside the parks that would make a length of stay purchase worth it? Or are they only in the parks? We do have a Chef Mickey Brunch Reservation. I don't remember if photographers are at hotels or Downtown Disney, Boardwalk, etc. This is our first trip focusing outside the parks. We really want Magic Shots from the Party so will be buying at least a single day.

Is Mickey in the photo from Chef Mickey's like you get a Princess at their dinners? I can't move the date this close. But just buying that pic seperately may be a better use of $.
