My family is going to WDW in July!!! YAY!!!!

Anyway, i am torn on what to do--we can either buy a package through expedia and save $200-$300 or can book it seperate and stay onsite and not rent a car.
If we book a package it will include a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, airfare, and a car.
I know my family would love to stay onsite but on the other hand alot of the hotel has kids eat free or some meals free.
We are planning only to be in our room to sleep and get ready in the morning--we will eat breakfast in our room too.
Man, I am soo torn!!!!
Help me see all the pros and cons!!!

The pro's of the Expedia package:
  • two bedrooms means more space to spread out, more privacy
  • a full kitchen at your fingertips
  • free meals for the kids
  • easy one-step planning
  • $200-$300 cheaper than staying onsite
The cons of the Expedia package:
  • Expedia expects payment in full at the time of booking
  • Expedia has penalties for cancellations or changes beginning almost immediately after you book your trip
  • You'll have to rely on your offsite mode of transportation to get to WDW everyday
  • no control over your ressie, that includes flight times, airline and rental car agency
  • it's not a Disney resort - no Mickey Magic
  • "kids eat free" is often a euphamism for "adults will be price-gouged"
