Debating 3 or 4 night stay

We are doingthe 2 park/3 day ticket for US/IOA mid August. Checking in dinnertime on a Monday. Park days Tues/Wed/Thurs. We planned to check out Friday morning so we wouldn’t feel rushed, would have time for mid-day pool breaks, wouldn’t have to worry about check out on a park day, and to check out Citywalk once or twice during our stay...then we’re heading to Disney. Now debating if 4 nights is overkill and wondering if we should check out Thursday. We have Disney Vacation Club so we’d save money by switching to Disney sooner but also don’t want to shortchange our stay at Universal since it might be our only trip there. We are new to Universal so really not sure how much time to allot. Thanks!

Are you staying deluxe with unlimited express pass? I would say with EP 2 park days is nice, 3 is GREAT!! Of course, I'd choose the extra night at Universal- especially if you think you won't be back. Then, you'd be able to do the rides & shows and also take in the atmosphere of the Harry Potter areas. There's so many wonderful details!!

Hi I agree with pattyw I would stay the extra night also. I agree with pp and would not say it is overkill at all.

Keep what you have booked

You won’t have to rush and take your time in the parks

Spend the evenings at city walk for a late evening meal or at one of the other hotel eateries
