Debarkation Day Buffet Breakfast

Our first four cruises we did Cabanas for last morning breakfast. This past cruise we decided to try the MDR and enjoyed it very much. Calm, not rushed at all and the food was good. We did have the later seating.

Last week on the Magic we had late dinner, so late sit-down breakfast at 8:15. We were happy to sleep in a little and then take our luggage to Rapunzel’s - no way we’d have made it to Cabana’s before 8! We were driving home, though, so no concern about getting to an airport at any particular time.

We have early dining for dinner. Is it possible to switch to the later MDR breakfast on debarkation day?

I’ve stopped doing breakfast on debarkation day. I distribute my tip envelopes on the last night. For my last three cruises, I’ve ordered room service the night before—usually a fruit bowl, cheese plate, croissant, hot tea tray, and donuts. I’ll snack on that in the morning if I feel like it, otherwise I just grab something after I get off the ship. For me, 6:45 a.m. is too early for breakfast. I like to take my time getting ready, and my luggage tags are usually called between 7:30 and 7:45, so I’m off the ship by 8 a.m.
