Death to memory card!! (help)

ok i have a built in memory card reader on my pc. I have used that same memory card in that reader millions of time. sometimes it works sometimes it dosent. Is there a way to force it to read my card?

That's what I was thinking too. Try getting some canned air and blowing it out to make sure the contacts are clean in the PC.

IIRC the SD card has exposed contacts. Try cleaning them with a little alcohol.

I think its dead I tried achocol on the exposed conectors

Can you connect the camera with a USB wire?
If not you can get a card reader for as low as $10 some places.. usually about $20 everywhere. It will read many types of cards.

Does the card reader on the computer work with other cards? Does the card work in the camera?

Maybe it's the card reader driver. You might have to reinstall it.

I agree with the PP if your camera has the small USB plug....get a the cable you need it may have come with the camera, plug it into the camera and then into your computer with MC in camera...restart computer...You should then be able to navigate just like it was in the reader....JMHO
