Death of an Ex

I'm not overwrought with grief but a bit sad and very shocked to hear that my ex had a heart attack this morning. Our break up was amicable (she suddenly started talking about finding a surrogate to stud a baby for 'us' !?! - never something we talked about and as a matter of fact 4 years ago we were very much in agreement that we didn't want kids) and it swore me off of long distance relationships plus my ex from many years ago and I got back together but I still feel bad. We went out for 3 years and she traveled a long way to see me when my mother died. Rest in Peace.
